About this property

Mountain Retreat with access to ATV Trails!

Cross Fork 2 bed, 1 bath cabin on 1 acre. ATV/UTV/Snowmobile trail access right from the cabin! Lots of wildlife and stars! Sleeps 6, including sofa bed. Full kitchen with dishes/utensils/coffee pot. AC. Heat. Well water (must bring your own drinking water). Wood burning firepace. TVs with DVD player. Small selection of movies and card games. Large covered porch with seating and porch swing. Fire pit out back with chairs. Gas and charcoal grill. Beautiful place to relax, ride, or play in nature!

We provide a stocked kitchen for guests to enjoy including dishes, pots/pans, utensils, coffee pot, microwave, toaster, fridge/freezer, and oven. Guests must bring their own linens, toiletries, napkins, dish towels, trash bags, charcoal, propane for grill, and any other necessities. ALL trash must be removed from the camp when checking out. There is a dumpster available at the end of our road, off the main road. Guests must bring their own drinking water as it is advised to not drink the well water. Please conserve water the best possible during your stay. Upon arrival you may need to turn on the water pump and hot water heater....the breaker box is in the back bedroom and is labeled. When arriving, please check to see if it is on. Tv's, AC units, night light, and small appliances that you plan to use will need to be plugged in when you arrive. The key code will be messaged to guests via the app the morning of check in. Cameras are located outside of the cabin. Call and/or message on the app with any questions.

There are several trails, parks, and towns accessible by ATV/UTV right from our cabin! The closest store, restaurant and bar is a quick 15 minute ATV/UTV ride. Some of the trails require a pilot pass to be purchased from DNR for access, so we suggest to do your research first so you know where you can ride. We can answer some questions related to this if needed.

We thank you for staying at our camp and hope you have an amazing trip! Again, please reach out via the app with any questions. Stay Blessed!

Property was something that I was aware of from being at Quiet Oaks Campground for years. Good shape, perfect location for all of my needs. Had everything that I was looking for in a peaceful setting. Cabin was well maintained and well taken care of. Several issues of note were that the cabin smelled musty upon arrival and had to open doors and widows to air it out. Secondly, I understand that the water was not for consumption, but there was a sediment issue in the toilet after flushing and lead me to wonder how safe the water was to bathe in? The main issue that I discovered was that even though I was given advance directions at my request, it would have been nice to have been made aware of the location of the lockbox prior to arrival. I spent time to find out how to physically lock the place when I didn't know where to find a key. Having said all of this, I would most definitely use the facility again. Thanks.

Mountain House
The location of the house and property surrounding it is perfect for most anything you would want to do in the area. It’s very clean. We wished there had been more outside seating on the porch and around the fire pit. We were not aware that the breaker had to be turned on for the water pump and water heater. I rated the online listing and communication a three because there wasn’t much information provided.
