It was a great weekend for the tomahawk fall ride. This cabin on on Lake Nokomis was a great reprieve from riding Harley’s all day long. I would highly recommend staying there again for next year.

The property was perfect for our family of 11 adults, 2 toddlers, and 2 infants. The lake was beautiful, with easy access for swimming and kayaking. Communication with host was prompt. It was everything we needed for a very peaceful, relaxing getaway.

Family Vacation

We had a wonderful time, with great accomodations. Enjoyed having 2 houses as gave room for families to have some seperate time. Had wonderful communication with the owner and would definately come again.

Wonderfully relaxing

We had a wonderful family vacation. This property suited our littles to adults. The additional cottage was perfect for nap and early bed times. We spent much of our time in the water which was lovely.

There was plenty of space for the two of us, plus our four adult children, their significant others, and our three grandchildren. The pizza oven was enjoyed throughout the week for breakfasts and dinners, the kitchen was well stocked with the main necessities, and there was a small, but very nice, sandy area for us to wade in the water with the little ones and swim. The location was perfect - just a boat ride or car drive from a couple solid restaurants and the Windmill for icecream. We all enjoyed our family vacation!

Great family memories made

Love the space of this property for our family. The boathouse and dock area are great for water sports. The patio/fireplace is a great space to enjoy in the evenings. The owner is very responsive and on top of any situations that arise. Highly recommend staying here!

Great Place for a Family Vacation

This is a great place to stay. Lots of space. Plenty of all the things you would need. It is very peaceful and well kept. We enjoyed fires in the evening. The water was very nice! And communication was very smooth!

Second year staying at this property! Very clean with a great up north vibe. We had a group of 15. Mostly adults, two teenagers and three kids under 10. We loved hanging on the back patio and the bar area in the back porch! Made full use of brick pizza oven and made homemade pizza one night. Lake Nokomis has many great swimming spots but did take advantage of the boat house and pier’s for another spot to swim! Definitely would recomend!

Great swimming and fishing

The property was clean and well decorated, everything was clearly well taken care of. The house and cottage was a huge asset to our group, which had multiple families. We were able to space ourselves out which was very helpful. The best spot of the whole property is the boat house. We had great weather so there was multiple days where we lounged in the water and watched the kids find rocks and jump off the dock. The owner said swimming shoes may be necessary, but only a few people used them. I would definitely recommend this again.

We rented both places to gather for my parents 65th wedding anniversary.

We loved our stay! The house and cottage were absolutely beautiful and spacious. And bonus outside with the patio and grille. The owners were interactive, helpful and accommodating. We were all thrilled. We hope to be back in the summertime.

Wonder place to make family memories

There are no words to describe our time here. The main house and cottage are so cute. Lots of room for all of our children and grandchildren. Great fishing, lots of extras at this place. The whole family agrees super place. Wonderful hosts!

Good Place for time with friends

The outdoor pizza oven was a huge hit on pizza night. The lake is perfect for tubing, skiing and kneeboarding. We went to the ski show in Tomahawk which is only 15 minutes away. A great location with the added benefit of an ‘extra house’ for the teenagers in our group.

Perfect Up North Vacation!

This is a beautiful property! Plenty of room for all 14 of us. We spent so much time in the outdoor spaces and the pizza also got some use. The small beach was great for swimming and entering the kayaks. The beds were comfortable and the kitchens well stocked. The owners were easy to communicate with. We couldn't have asked for a better experience! I would definitely recommend and will book again in the future.

Great Stay

This was the perfect place for our group! Loved the main house and the cottage. The kids especially liked sharing the two spaces. We spent a lot of time outside by the fire place at night. We also enjoyed hanging out in the bar area in the main house. Everything was very nicely decorated. Bedrooms were spacious and clean. We had a pizza party night and made use of the outdoor wood fire pizza oven which was fantastic! We will definitely be going back next year!

Christmas in July.

I give my family the gift of a week up-north that we can spend swimming, boating, and being together for their Christmas present. This place fit the bill. The house and cottage were very comfortable. It has a great boat house with music, dock and swim area. The fire pit between the house and cottage was the best in the evening. We really enjoyed all the things Lake Nokomis offers. Patty S.

Annual Summer Vacation!

The properties are lovely. Very neat and clean and they really it on everything. The second cottage worked great for our son who has 3 young children when they needed a little quiet time. Gorgeous patio with large Weber Grill and nice furniture. The screened party garage down by the lake was nice the night there was a storm. We watched the storm from inside the garage.

Northwoods Family Vacation

We had a wonderful stay at your home. The kitchen was a perfect size for preparing meals for 8 adults and 4 little ones. The main living area was a lovely size for relaxing and catching a movie with the family. The additional cottage worked out perfectly for our son's family. The Tomahawk area is a great place to find plenty of fun things to do. We are hoping to be able to plan our next family vacation together with your home in mind. Perfect Family vacation home

The grounds are lovely, and the house is nicely decorated and very clean. Comfortable beds and pillows, plenty of bath towels but kitchen short on towels that actually dry, only one dishcloth. Kitchen was well stocked except only 7 dinner plates and no paper plates or napkins. We rented the beautiful cottage also and could use plates and towels from there. We loved making pizza in the outdoor oven and outdoor fireplace was awesome. Good swimming for teens and we did catch some fish. Property manager was slow to respond.

Life Celebration gathering.

We just returned from a wonderful stay in this beautiful property on Lake Nokomis. We had 13 people ranging from the ages of 1 to 89. The setting and bed situation was perfect and the additional cottage allowed some separation of the families. The kids and adults enjoyed the water and kayaks. We had pizza in the outdoor brick pizza oven which was fun! The layout of the house and view of the lake was gorgeous. This house was well stocked with pots, pans and utensils - better than most rentals. The owner was extremely responsive and very helpful with any questions asked. We all enjoyed our stay and have already talked about making it an annual family vacation. Thanks so much for allowing us to stay and enjoy this beautiful home and cottage in lake Nokomis!

Our family's love of the Northwoods led us to the Tomahawk, WI area. We love to get away to beautiful shores of Lake Nokomis and make memories with family and friends enjoying all the amazing and diverse outdoor sports this area has to offer. After purchasing a second home in the area, we wanted to share the home and experience with other guests and turned it into a part time vacation rental. There is such a wonderful feeling hearing from our guests about the memories they made while staying at our home. We setup this vacation rental to help make every family's dream of a peaceful, relaxing, and adventurous getaway as close to perfect as possible.
