About this property

Brand new development close to Morgantown, Cheat Lake, Coopers Rock, Deep Creek Lake/Wisp Ski Resort. Property is on 3 Acres with amazing PRIVACY and 1,000 feet of Laurel Run! De-stress the second you arrive and listen to the water. Start a fire in the fire pit next to the water. Brand new house!! 1,900 sq ft on two levels. Two main level bedrooms each have a king size bed. Upper level bunk room has 4 XL twin beds. Sleeps up to 8 people! High speed bandwidth will be available in October but we do have starlink which will provide internet access for calling, texting, social media, etc. Available almost EVERY football weekend.

Habit-forming West Virginia Getaway

This is our second time staying at the host's property. I can say confidently that we'll be back again. Nestled in a serine valley, the property has amazing access to both nature and comfort-making amenities like a well equipped kitchen and spacious covered deck. This part of WV is known for exceptional biodiversity of mushrooms and fungi. Grab the field guide off the shelf, and go exploring. Access to grocery stores, climbing gyms, coffee, and commercial businesses are just 15 minutes down the interstate. The host is exceptionally accommodating, a great communicator, and seems like a genuinely nice guy that wants to be sure that you have a great experience.

A+ stay!

What can we say about this NEW Farmhouse VRBO? "Almost Heaven in West Virginia". The home is new, fresh and beautiful, and the outdoor space is especially magnificent. My husband and I spent most of our weekend getaway sitting on the covered back deck listening to the sound of the stream and gazing at the lush trees and occasional deer sightings. The kitchen was well equipped, which was great, because we didn't want to leave the house and ate every meal on the back deck. Chris our host was easy to communicate with and went out of his way to ensure that we had a fantastic time. This is a pretty remote area, but we had no problem finding the home with our GPS. Cooper's Rock State Forest and Cheat Lake are both an easy drive from the property. We loved our time and hope to return soon.

I am a WVU alumni. Played rugby there until 1993. Right now I live in Haymarket, Va with my wife, 3 kids and 3 dogs!

Why they chose this property

In college we would camp at this location called the Big Sandy/Wonder Falls. I heard through one of my rugby buddies that a developer bought the land and was selling 3+ acre lots. I immediately called the rep and scheduled a visit. When my wife and I saw Lot 49 we fell in love with it. In fact, my wife did not want to see any other lots.

What makes this property unique

3 acres with the beautiful Laurel Run flowing through it for 1,000 feet. I can be at Coopers Rock in 10 minutes, Cheat Lake in 15 minutes and the football stadium in 25 minutes.
