Relax and restore yourself at this charming mountain cottage home that is on over an acre of Northern California majestic redwoods. Want to go hiking or biking? The property has a trail that starts at the end of the driveway, goes behind the house, and leads into the 6100+ acre La Honda Creek Open Space Preserve. It’s also right by 5 other amazing hiking and mountain biking areas (Thornwood, El Corte De Madre Creek, Wunderlich, Windy Hill, and Purisima). Want the beach? You can be there in 20 minutes. Writer’s retreat or working remote? The property has high-speed wifi and is only 15 minutes from the famous Sand Hill Road and Silicon Valley. Charming restaurants, including Alice’s, are walking distance away.

The cottage house is a very large studio with 20-ft high ceilings, a king bed, kitchen, living space with queen sleeper sofa and Smart TV, dining area, bathroom, and charming gas furnace. There is also both a front and back porch to sit and enjoy the majestic settings. The cottage house provides great privacy and is detached and separate from the other house on the property.

A cute place, though a little hard to find

We really enjoyed the place and the area - but finding it in the first place was a bit of a challenge - the signs have a different road name on them. Once we got there, we had a good time. A store and Alice's restaurant were within an easy walking distance.

Gem

Stayed here for 2 nights with the wife to get away and unwind. Alice’s is walking distance and was amazing for breakfast and dinner. Very serene and it served us very well. I will absolutely look to comeback and stay for a couple of days. Thank you for sharing this gem of a cabin.

Nice place!

Great location! Beautiful space! Down sides: The place next to mine, which was much larger had 5 cars come Saturday night which made getting in and out of drive way impossible. The website showed really nice hiking trails but they are no where near the cottage. And lastly cobwebs on the skylights where you need a 20ft pole to knock down. But we really had a nice and relaxing time!

Great hideaway to recharge

Great location for being out of the city buzz. Little restaurant close by that has great food. Perfect getaway for 2 people who just want to recharge.
