Located in the heart of Michigan's Upper Peninsula, a short drive to Marquette or the Copper Country, our home away from home in rural Baraga County is the perfect setting for a quiet weekend away or an extended vacation.
Petticoat Lake is a private lake with no public access. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets will start and end your day. Petticoat is filled with bass (largemouth and smallmouth), northern pike, crappie, walleye and rock bass. The privacy of the lake provides for exceptional kayaking and boating.
The cabin features a dock for fishing and a small private launch for personal watercraft or small fishing boats. The use of two kayaks is provided

Having grown up in the Upper Peninsula, this cabin served as our family cabin for many years. We are fortunate to have acquired it recently to keep it in the family and to share with those who want to experience the rich rural character and charm of the Upper Peninsula.
Why they chose this property
Why this cabin? Because it is the ultimate get away where you can unplug, disconnect and unwind. There's no pressure to go anywhere or do anything other than enjoying the lake or a good book. There are plenty of opportunities for day trips in the area if you feel adventurous. However, there is absolutely no need to be anywhere else if you just want to get away.
