Very close to the Hocking Hills State Parks, just 10 minutes or so away. The John Glenn Astronomy Park was awesome, get communication on visibility of sky just got there and sat down looked up and saw a shooting star what timing. Everything was as stated, clean and excellent place to spend your vacation. Lots of room and no noise at all!!

need to mark what light switches go where, replace some bulbs. We bought you a spatula. A few of the beds weren't very comfy. Accomodations, hot tub etc... were great kids loved it & it was pet friendly another perk. It said no smoking but sure smelled when first arriving

Great place! Clean and fully furnished with everything needed for the time spent here. Was impressed by the amount of dishes, pots and pans, etc. stocked in the kitchen. Quiet and secluded location that made for a stress free couple of days.

We were looking for a spacious cabin with little to no noise nearby, this place is listed as secluded and it is definitely NOT. There is cabins all around. There is no dishwasher, dryer or washer. The cabin is listed as sleeping 16 people. We had 10 adults and there was not enough room for us.the cleaning was lacking a lot upon arrival, dust bunnies in corners of rooms, dust covered on vents. The bathrooms need deep cleaning, mold on tubs. The toilets rock when you sit on them. Especially the Basement one you feel like its going to fall off . There COULD be 16 people if some of those are children. It is nice that it is multi level so you can separate, the hot tub was nice but all but only 1 jet worked. The fireplace and grill did its job. MOSTLY, the driveway is TRETUROUS where you park is almost a cliff if you are close to the house. We had a very hard time getting cars out especially if you have more than 2 vehicles. When leaves are falling you can't even see where the driveway begins. And the road is very bumpy so be careful and go slow. Overall, it was okay, with a listing with that many people to stay the place should have dishwasher and laundry for that price.

This review is a bit puzzling. This lodge is loved by many guests, as you'll probably see in other reviews. The lodge is secluded, but there are other cabins through the woods. We didn't say it was isolated, but it is private. We also didn't say that there was a dishwasher or washer and dryer there. Guests need to read the descriptions of a property before booking, to see if the property matches their wants or needs. We have 16 guests there often, without complaint. Nobody in this guest's group reached out to us, at all, about any of the things they mentioned now. Waiting until afterward and taking potshots is not the way to do it. We would have sent personnel over to check and address anything that was mentioned, had they reached out. The driveway is not treacherous. It is on a hillside, not a cliff, but a little experience driving is recommended, as with anywhere in the hills. Cars go in and out of there all the time, but we can't vouch for every driver's abilities. The road is a gravel, country road, to get to the cabin, maybe 1/2 mile or less from the paved road. As we noted, they did reserve a cabin in the Hocking Hills. This isn't a flat, paved parking lot in the city, which is part of what draws people to this part of the country. Also, the price that tehy paid was not high, for the kind of lodge that they got. Just check other reviews. And if they come back to the Hocking Hills and have any issues, they need to reach out while they're still here.

Great Getaway

The Double Pine Lodge is awesome! It comfortably fit our group, with room to spread out. The furniture is comfy and my group loved the hot tub and pool table. We would love to return!
