Tony was wonderful. If you want to stay in a secluded, high in the mountain retreat, we highly recommend it. No where near shopping or attractions. Pure relaxation.
The cabin is so cute and every amenity you need to relax. Hammocks, fireplace, creek to listen to or play in, cornhole, He even went and got a few things for the kids to play and enjoy. Just so peaceful. Will definitely be back.
The cabin was super clean and very well kept. A creek surrounds the cabin and it’s peaceful there. If you are looking to get away from noise and the hustle of life - it’s a perfect location.
The owner, Tony, was very kind and helpful. Another wonderful nicety, is the cabin is pet friendly.

I enjoyed the creek, nature and peacfulness of area. Many things to do if you are into that. Host was respectful and prompt in concerns (like storm power outage).
If you need quiet, calm, peace, this is the place. While it is rather isolated, I couldn't have felt more comfortable and safe. The host is very accommodating, but doesn't interrupt my solitude. I WILL be back.
I had an awesome time at Tony’s place. The place was super clean. The WiFi/internet is super fast. I was able to remotely work all the time. The kitchen had everything I needed. There were lots of spices available along with cooking oil. I’ve had the most peaceful time here. Also stargazing at night is awesome.
Thank you Tony for letting me stay at your beautiful place. I will come again.
Cabin sits beside a nice creek and the front porch is in my opinion the highlight of the place. There is a second cabin on the same property approx 150 feet away but nobody was there when we were so it was private for us. there is one other neighbor maybe 100 yards away. I think the bed in the master bedroom could use an update but the bathroom appears to be recently updated and very nice. the bed in the loft area is VERY close to the ceiling so that would be a very tight fit if it was to be used. The cable tv and telephone land line went out while we were at breakfast on the morning of our second day and not a cloud in the sky. That left us without cell service due to the cabins remote location. The ceiling in a few spots needs to be finished. All appliances worked as they should.
Had a great time staying at this cabin. Very remote, very quiet. Being right on a creek is wonderful. We spent a lot of time just sitting on the porch listening to the water. Cabin is well equipped, WiFi worked great.Kitchen is well equipped (except it needs some medium sized cooking/serving spoons, such as wooden spoons). Pantry is better stocked than nearly any other rental I have used. Anthony was prompt in responding and made sure we had what we needed. Great place for 2 people; 4 would be cramped. Listing should advertise the owner lives next door and has dogs (wonderful, friendly dogs) since some people have pretty severe allergies. Will stay there again if the opportunity comes up!
I was looking for a pet friendly mountain getaway when I came across this listing. Talk about peaceful! This was the perfect place for us and our large puppy, Maggie. The creek is only yards from the porch and very accessible. We had to put our toes in, but it was cold! :) Hopefully we will be able to return later in the year with the grandkids.
You might want to get food and drinks on your way in. This is a pretty remote location.
Our host was amazing and very accommodating. This is a definite 10/10 for us. Thank you Tony!
We were looking for a place that provided amenities without sacrificing peace and seclusion. The only thing we had to bring was food and clothes for our 5 day stay at the cabin by the creek. The cabin was well-appointed with everything we needed and we felt like we were in our own home. There was wifi available and streaming services for movies. The cabin was very clean and much cleaner than many well-known places we have stayed at. The area was quiet except for the wonderful rushing sound of the creek and there is only one neighbor within eyesight of the cabin. Communication with the host was seamless and responses were prompt and courteous. We did experience a power outage that we were unaware of during a storm that knocked out the WiFi momentarily. However, the host immediately showed up to reset everything so we wouldn't be without WiFi. When we need to get away again for some peace and quiet the cabin by the creek will be the first place we think about returning to.
Nice place to get away from it all, only problem was picking a bad week to go. Rained every day. Host was very helpful and friendly, and the cabin was very clean, very happy about that.
We absolutely love Tony’s little house that was steps from the creek. The house fit us perfectly and was very clean. The house is well stocked with everything needed for our stay. Our Goldendoodle loved it as well. Tony was very responsive to our needs. He called to let us know a severe storm was moving in and the need to be weather aware. He wanted to make sure we were comfortable and safe. We had a wonderful time and we definitely will rent it again in the future.
Our stay was great and the owner was very kind and easy to communicate with. Tony was extremely helpful during our stay. We would love to come back! Excellent cabin:)
Had a very pleasant Christmas holiday stay at this out of the way cabin in the woods. Stargazing at night was amazing, and the porches were great to sit on and listen to the babbling brook nearby. Cabin was clean, tastefully done, and had everything visitors would need and desire to have a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
This is a clean, cozy cabin. We took our little dog for the first time and he was comfortable and loved exploring outside. It was a perfect set up for dogs.
The cabin had everything you would need. The creek was pretty. We slept a lot as we wanted peaceful and quiet with no disturbances. The fall leaves were just starting to change, and I know it would be really pretty. We brought everything we needed but decided to go out and the country store only sold ingredients for bread, you either bake it or drive another hour and half to Walmart. We did drive on to Walmart and I was shocked at how nice it was compared to the 4 by my house in Florida. The cabin was well worth the trip and it was very quiet. Our cell phones did not work at all even putting in the wifi info. The house phone gave us the peace of mind if we needed any help. When we were almost to Walmart all our text messages and voice mails came through, so we did sit and respond to any that was important. We are planning on moving to Tn in the future and this gave us a lot of ideas about where and how we wish to live. Has to have some pasture as our horses will be coming with us. This was very relaxing and glad we came.

Why they chose this property
There was an absolute peacefulness and serenity here when I first visited the location. The air was cooler than the surrounding areas, the creek was very pretty and crystal clear, birds were chirping in the trees.... I instantly loved the place.
