Great vacation spot

The cabin was cozy and quiet, still close enough to attractions that we enjoy. We had a great experience, and the host is great.

Michael was very communicative and friendly. The home was family friendly. The layout allowed for kids to have their own private space. The pool table was a plus, we enjoyed some friendly competition to wind down the evenings. Overall great experience and location.

It was a clean cabin down a long road ending up at 10,000 feet elevation. The host was responsive and check in was easy. I do think the pictures looked better on the website than in person. I thought it would be fancier and bigger. Also, I didn't realize there is no air conditioning so we bought and left 2 fans for other people to use. I think it was a good stay and the views driving up to the cabin made the stay worth it. Be mindful it might take about 20 minutes to get to any stores. However, there is a brand new coffee shop within walking distance. Overall, very nice stay!

Great Experience

My family and I had an amazing White Christmas this 2024 and part of it was thanks to our host, he made sure we had a Christmas Tree for the occasion. Husband and I had enjoyed our morning coffees with a beautiful view, my kids enjoyed the pool table and playing outside in the snow. The spacing was perfect just the way it was needed.

Getting in

My only complaint was the walkway/steps to get up to the deck etc was sort of shoveled and very icy. There is a railing to hold on to but only a little ways up the walk. The walk to the sauna was not shoveled so we did not use - to much snow to get to it. Felt treacherous to go back and forth to the car.

Beautiful Place To Stay

We greatly enjoyed our stay at the house. It was perfect for two adult couples. My husband and I had our space upstairs, while my son and daughter-in-law stayed downstairs. Both the upstairs and downstairs had a bedroom, bathroom, and living area so we felt like we each had our own space. We were actually snowed in for a morning, and it was just fine with us! The kitchen was well stocked and the fireplace made the stay warm and cozy! The road getting to the house stays pretty cleared off, but we hit a bad snowstorm and were thankful we had a 4-Wheel Drive vehicle. Idaho Springs is the perfect location if you are interested in skiing at Loveland which we did one of the days. Michael was great to work with! Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Perfect location in the St Mary's Glacier area. There is a wonderful little coffee and breakfast spot just a short 5 minute walk from the front door of the cabin. We took our ATV's on this trip and every day we got up and rode the trails nearby. This is a great place for hiking and riding your sxs or atv, there are a good number of trails that you can access by simply walking out of the cabin and hopping on your machine. The mountain lakes are just as easy to get to, short hike to a number of lakes. The cabin was clean and the west facing deck was perfect for an evening sit to watch the sun fall behind the mountains. If you are looking for a relaxing cabin to stay at in the rocky mountains, this is a cabin that you should have on your list. We loved it!
