This spacious log home is situated on top of a Cambria County hill that affords gorgeous views of the landscape in any season. Guests can start their day with the vibrant color of a morning sunrise from the spacious deck and finish the evening with friends around the large fire ring. This cedar home has enough room to accommodate family and friends inside and out with four bedrooms and plenty of space to play. The master bedroom and loft den afford guests options to work out, read, play a game, or just enjoy the feeling of possibility that comes from open space.
This home is situated to offer the perfect balance of privacy and connection. Guests can relish the peaceful serenity on the hill while being a short drive from restaurants and activity. Outdoor enthusiasts are only miles away from Rock Run ATV Park and Prince Gallitzin State Park. There is plenty of room for parking ATV trailers and for storing hiking/biking/skiing gear!

If 10 stars was an option I would give it. Went here with some friends and family just to get away and the place was extremely beautiful from the inside of the house to the outside view of the mountains. Clean and well put together. Also the hosts were extremely hospitable and kind! Would recommend this place for a vacation getaway or any type of getaway to anyone! Exceeded expectations

Tranquil home

This property is absolutely perfect!! Perfect place to relax and unwind. So spacious, clean well equipped. Kara was responsive and generous with yummy cookies when we arrived. I highly recommend staying here and we will definitely stay again!

I enjoy life and our little town of Hastings. I figured it was time to share something that I have kept very close to my heart. This home has brought so many memories for me and everyone in my family. I could no longer be selfish, it was time to share and allow others to experience!

Why they chose this property

The home has been in the family for many years. My Mother designed it, my Father built it. The home has outgrown my family. I thought it was time to share it with others so someone else could make some memories like our entire family has throughout so many years.

What makes this property unique

The home is located on a hill looking over our little town. In the winter the hill can get very tricky. You will need a four wheel drive to arrive at this destination. I also heat the home with an outdoor coal furnace which must be attended to twice daily at normal temperatures, more often with the frigid temperatures.
