Jared and I are from Salt Lake City and love all that this area has to offer. We spend a lot of our time outdoors - skiing in the winter and hiking, camping, backpacking, and fishing in the spring, summer and fall. We also love to travel (short and long trips) and have used our travel experience to try to anticipate all of your VRBO needs!

Why this property you ask?! Where do we start?!

We are tucked below the base of Little Baldy Peak at the northeastern edge of the world class Deer Valley Resort and overlook the Jordanelle Reservoir, a popular summer destination for watersports. This side of the mountain is quiet with beautiful views that span out to the Uinta Mountains and toward Wyoming. Want to feel like you’re in a remote mountain community but be 15 minutes away from all conveniences - this is your place!

The condo is a convenient 4 minute drive to the Deer Valley Jordanelle Express Gondola parking lot and ticket office with easy access to the entire Deer Valley Resort. Deer Valley’s majestic Bald Mountain at 9400 ft elevation sits in the distance. On winter nights, watch lights from snow cat groomers zig zag the mountain preparing it for the morning’s ski adventurers.

Park City/Canyons Ski Resort is a quick 15 minutes away. Sundance, Solitude, Brighton, Alta, Snowbird, Powder Mountain and Snow Basin Ski Resorts are 45 minutes to an hour away. Ikon and Epic pass holders - we have you covered!

Park City's historic Main Street is 15 minutes drive and great for groceries, shopping, dining, night life and entertainment. Stop by Park City’s own High West Distillery for a taste of the award winning local whiskey or a buffalo burger. Park City is also home to the world famous Sundance Film Festival - a winter must do!

Heber City is a small western town just 10 minutes south with quaint shops, grocery stores, restaurants, the best ice cream shakes. Stop by Dairy Keen for their famous shakes or a burger. Or if you are a summer visitor, take in the Rodeo or the Demolition Derby!

Midway, often called Utah's Switzerland, is also close by (10 minutes) and home the Homestead and Zermatt resorts. Take a relaxing plunge in the Homestead Caldera Natural Hot Springs and Crater, visit Soldier Hollow for snow tubing, or visit the Ice Castles. In the summer, enjoy the Swiss Days festival!
