From the house and the property you can watch all the shipping, which does its work in the graceful midnight sun as well as inWinter storms. It is also worth looking out of the window to observe the maritime wildlife. In the fjord, harbor porpoises sometimes appear, and somewhat less frequently, seals and killer whales. For bird lovers, there is a rich bird life on site that makes the heart of ornithologists beat faster.

Experience the spacious property and the surrounding area. Because you also live here on historical ground. After discovering settlements from the Stone Age, Tromsø Museum has placed two areas on this property under monument protection, which prove the attractiveness of this place. You can also try your fishing luck after only a few strokes on the fjord. You may even get to row back with lunch you caught yourself afterwards.

In the summertime, a forest trail starts directly from the property. As you hike southeast through topologically rising landscapes, you will cross the forest line. There, flatter terrain awaits you as you move through the ridges, offering magnificent views. In the area you can catch good trout, sea trout, Arctic char and salmon (fishing license must be available). Your little ones and teenagers will also get their money's worth here, because after a pleasant drive you can reach the Charlottenlund activity and nature sports area and on the island of Tromsøya, the North Norwegian Knowledge Center and the DarkLight laser game.

In winter you can strap on your cross-country skis right at the house and explore great trails on the very large property. Beyond the road you can start a longer cross-country ski tour and move further into the beautiful, mountainous terrain. After a short drive, you can also discover Sami culture and try a reindeer sleigh ride at Tromsø Arctic Reindeer.
