About this property

Sugar Bear Lodge (permit # CESTRP-2022-01449) is family and pet friendly (Max 2 pets, $150 fee per pet) with all the amenities in your own private cabin. With a fully stocked kitchen and games for the family, there is plenty for you to enjoy. Surround yourself in nature and hike at the nearby Maple Trails or have a snow day at the nearby ski resorts. And after a long day, soak in our brand new hot tub and take in the views from our fully covered patio.

The space
There are three bedrooms, main bedroom is a King size bed, second room includes a Queen bed, and the third bedroom has a bunk bed and daybed. There is a futon on the upstairs landing. The Living area is spacious and open, with plenty of space outdoors with our wraparound deck.
Guest access
Home is fully open for your enjoyment, the garage is off limits and is our storage unit.
Other things to note
Our home is pet friendly (Max. 2 pets, $150 fee per stay) and has a fully fenced in yard. We ask that your pets are secured in a crate when sleeping to avoid any accidents and that they are never left unattended. Please ensure your pets are free of any fleas or ticks before your visit. In addition, please bring their favorite blanket to minimize any hair on the furniture as well as their own bed or pillow for sleeping. Any pet waste should be collected before you check out and thrown in the outdoor trash bins. Failure to clean up after your pet will result in additional cleaning fees.

NOISE-Guests are required to adhere to quiet hours between 10 p.m. and 7 a.m. PARKING-No oversized trailers with guests sleeping in the driveway.

Winter Wonderland

We were blessed with the first snow of the season in this lovely cabin. The home had everything that we needed to blend two families together for a 5 night stay in the mountains over the New Years Holiday.

Worst place ever

The guy was so rude and came an hour early saying we had to leave and tried to kick us out. The owner even came when we were in the hot tube. It was super creepy and I do not recommend ay all. If I can give it a 0 stars I would.

Cuter than the pictures give it credit for!

We stayed for a snowy weekend with our 6 kids and dog in January 2023. The property was even cuter in person!! We were pleasantly surprised with all they had there - the kitchen was ready for us (we cooked all our own meals during our stay), the kids had a blast on the Nintendo, two full bathrooms saved the day, and the enclosed yard allow the kids and dog to have a safe and super fun time in the snow. We would use this cabin again in the future :)

Hi there! I'm a SoCal native and live full time in Glendora, CA. My husband, Brad, helps manage the property with me and is a pool guy, so you can always be sure the Spa is in top shape. Our family welcomes you to our cabin to enjoy.

Why they chose this property

Sugarloaf is a special place for our family. Brad's grandpa built a cabin on this same mountain and as a kid enjoyed many holidays with the family in Sugarloaf.

What makes this property unique

While it is a bit further away from the village, we offer plenty to keep you entertained at our location and have a fully fenced in yard to keep you safe. Come unplug at our cabin, soak in our new spa (added August 2022), and enjoy the company of friends and family. Hang out by our wood-burning fireplace and have a game night with our Nintendo game system and board games that are available to you. We have a gas grill onsite and available to use (do not try to connect a propane tank).
