About this property

Point 3 Paradise - Dbl Decker Dock, Firepit & More

Come enjoy Point 3 Paradise's panoramic lake views from the dock and all 3 levels of these adjoining, charming cottages, sleeping a total of 12 between the two. The charming "main house" and cozy "guest house" are connected by a lakeview deck with seating for 10, ideal for gathering groups and families. The property is nestled in the privacy of about 2 wooded lakefront acres, and is bordered by Norris Lake and over 5000 acres of TVA, state and local park land. Hike to your heart's content! Mountain Lake Marina is less then 8 minutes' drive from the property , ideal for night-off dining, and supplies.

The spacious and open hardwood-floored great room under cathedral ceiling features equipped kitchen, dining area and kitchen counter bar, study area with desk and relaxing gathering space with couches and a gas log fireplace (available late fall - early spring) on the main level. A new bunkbed sleeps 2 in twin beds is set up in the bedroom nook with pocket door and adjoins the full bath on the main level. The lower level features 2 private bedrooms, each of which opens to the lakefront deck and connects to the main home's 2nd full bathroom and laundry area. Huge king bed suite and currently 2 double beds in the other, sleeps 4 total in the lower level but addition of a queen bed and bunkbed replaces the two doubles to make it 6 for sleeping in lower level before Thanksgiving 2022. The 1600+ square feet Main House sleeps 8 and offers two levels of full width Trex decks with outdoor tables and seating for 18.

The guest house is a one level cabin-style getaway with 2nd fireplace (wood stove on a natural stone wall), open shared great room featuring a kitchenette (including 2nd full sized refrigerator and oven-range), full bathroom, a king bed and two twin beds which sleep 4 altogether, under warm natural wood ceiling and hardwood floors. The 563 square foot Guest House includes a full width lakeview 3 season room adjoining the shared deck between the two houses and sleeps four (ideal for a family), for a total sleeping capacity of 12.

What really makes this a unique experience - as if sharing two houses isn't enough! - is the huge double decker dock. Located in a no-wake zone for safety, come enjoy the water slide, paddleboard, and pedal boat for free. On the upper level sun deck, there's chairs for tanning and just hanging out, and for those not faint of a heart - a jump platform. Do you dare take the plunge? Bringing or renting watercraft - there's room for three boats (two covered slips and a third berth alongside the second swim deck) plus 3 jet ski ports alongside the other swim deck with 2 hanging swings. Perfect combination recipe for best lake vacation ever!

Loads of parking (easily 4-6 cars) as this is the last house on the end of the road, and it continues onto a second 1.2 acre lakefront lot with firepit and campfire chairs ... enjoy a no-steps walk further down the gravel driveway all the way to the water! (Note: Main home does have a 2-car garage, reserved for owners only at this time, fyi)

Grill out on the deck, prep your meals in the kitchen, or enjoy dining at Mountain Lake Marina or Clinch River Brewery. Norris Dam and Norris Dam State Park as well as the city of Norris' park and Lenoir Museum are also just minutes away. So many entertaining options on and off the water, the fun never ends: ATV trails abound at Windrock and Ride Royal Blue .... play 9 and 18 hole championship golf courses 20-40 minutes in several directions. Or maybe you want to enjoy the best combination of lake life and the big city? Knoxville is less than 30 minutes away, while historic downtown Clinton offers great local shopping about 15 min away, Norris Dam, Clinch River Brewery (family friendly dining) and the surrounding park are less than 10 minutes away. Looking for a day trip off the lake or something for a rainy day? Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg are only about and hour and a half away!

Make the most of your dock - it's got plenty of waterfront fun even if you never left it!
But maximizing its access to Norris Lake's 35,000 acres of waterfront surface with over 800 miles of shoreline is best enjoyed with watercraft.

We had a great stay. The view of the lake is gorgeous, and the kids had a blast playing off the double decker deck.

Tom Sturm helped Todd and Stacey bring their vacation home dreams to life as a brother and sister team hailing from Colorado and northern Ohio - a welcome addition as our 11th managed property in the Norris Lake area. We are pleased to welcome this fine home to a great collection of managed lakefront homes and getaways. Whenever you find yourselves extremely busy with work, school, church and sports - we're always ready to help you find a getaway!

Owners and Managers alike absolutely love the time we spend on Norris Lake. Whether it's a week in the summer or an off-season getaway; just a night gazing at the stars or an action-packed lake day, every moment is a memory-maker. Not only do we love the lake life - we love sharing it with friends and family, guests and clients.

Why they chose this property

While we have loved beach trips and traveling afar, Norris Lake is hardly a secret anymore - combining the best of lake fun, natural beauty, and lots to do on and off the water. It is a place where family and friends have come together to unwind, relax together and have a ton of fun.

Ideal outdoor entertaining, Immaculately clean, beautifully decorated, most furniture, decor and fixtures brand new in 2022

And uniquely attractive is the two-home set up, the killer dock and the adjoining 5000 acres of park and TVA property.

What makes this property unique

Over the years, our family has rented many homes in many areas of Norris Lake, but we especially like this quiet cove in a NO WAKE zone so our kids can jump off the dock without fear, and we prefer the sounds of nature and laughter day and night instead of roaring speed boats and loud stereos.

We also enjoy being close to Mountain Lake Marina (and other marinas) for the convenience of a full service restaurant, gas station, bait shop and marine store - relaxing to drive down to pick up call-ahead carry out or eat out when the ladies need a break and the guys aren't grilling, or just walking down for ice cream on the weekends.

But our absolute favorite things are... sitting on the deck every morning with a cup of coffee, listening to loons and crows call as the mist rises from the Lake... hanging out with friends on the deck or dock after a great day on the Lake and a delicious dinner from the grill. Later you'll find yourself stargazing from the upper deck and being awestruck as shooting stars streak against the velvet black, Tennessee sky or hanging out by the fire.

Most of the community across the lake from us in Hiwassee is still undeveloped, and there's nothing like catching a glimpse of the wildlife or listening to the splash of jumping fish on a peaceful morning.

Let us know how we can make your special event, big celebration, or family or group vacation extra special - we and our staff are happy to accommodate any way we can. Come on down and stay a while - and tell us your favorite thing to experience at Point Three Paradise!
