A Beach Attitude: Dog-friendly, Private Pool, Hot Tub, 1100 Ft to Beach

A Beach Attitude will be all your family will need to have a fantastic Outer Banks vacation! It is a dog-friendly home for up to 2 pets and it is approximately 1100 feet to the Herring Street beach access in the Whalehead Beach neighborhood.

New for 2026: Queen mattresses have been replaced in the ground level bedrooms and a Pool table has been added to the ground level Lounge. The private pool has been re-surfaced.

TOP LEVEL:
The Great Room has beautiful outdoor views with a large, sectional sofa, a flat-screen TV and access to wide sundecks on 3 sides of the home. There is plenty of deck furniture for lounging on both the top and mid level decks. The screened porch offers more opportunity to enjoy the outdoors with a small table that can seat 6. Recently renovated, the kitchen has new appliances including 2 dishwashers; the countertops offer plenty of space to prepare family meals or snacks. The kitchen island has seating with 6 chairs and a built-in microwave. Nearby, the dining table can easily seat 10 with 6 chairs and a bench for 4 persons. [Note: gas fireplace is not available for guest use.]

MID LEVEL:
From the entry way, there is a Queen Jr. Master Suite with a semi-private bath (shower) which has a door to the hall. A separate Queen bedroom is at the back of this floor. The King Master Suite has a large master bath which features a soaking tub and a separate shower. The rooms have access to the mid level deck; a picnic table and a hammock are on the covered deck.

GROUND LEVEL:
There are 3 more bedrooms on this floor: the redecorated Queen bedroom has access to a hall bath (shower) and the next bedroom is a Queen Master Suite (redecorated); its private master bath has a shower/tub combo. The last bedroom has a Double bed with 2 Bunk Bed Sets. The game area features a Shuffleboard table, a Foosball table in the Lounge, and a newly added Pool table. There is a large flat-screen TV for viewing a ball game or a favorite program. The newly renovated kitchenette has new cabinetry, a built-in microwave, beverage center, ice maker appliance plus a dishwasher too! A full-sized refrigerator is located in the Laundry room. All of these amenities will make it super-convenient when relaxing outdoors by the pool and hot tub.

EXTRAS:
Enjoy a large, private 15' x 24' pool (open mid-May to mid-October). This spaces also offers a hot tub, complemented by an outdoor full bathroom with shower for added convenience after visiting the beach or before using the pool or hot tub. A sand volleyball court is located in the backyard. Bring your grill tools to use the propane gas grill located on the pool deck. There is parking for 5 vehicles only.
