About this property

Cabin House on the Prairie/50 min to ABQ

Sleep with the stars and moon and wake up to peach and purple skies.
Whether you are passing through "The Land of Enchantment", on a sabbatical, or needing a real nature reset this little cozy cabin lets you enjoy nature and the quiet in simple comforts. The tiny home cabin sits on 1 acre of land, this is a great place for famlies, digital nomads, hunters and pets! RV's are welcome.

The Space:
The tiny home cabin is new and is being constructed through time in phases over the next year. If you do pass by again and stay you will probably see changes as its being fixed up. By the winter there will be a wood stove and skirting on the house. You will notice when you walk in the smell of pine. There is a chimnea and some wood you can use (outside only) at night when your star gazing. Keep in mind you will have all your basics here. There will be 2 ice chests up there to where you can store your food (don't forget to bring 2- 3 bags of ice). The chests remain cold for 2-4 days on average. There are battery operated push lights through out the cabin to create that soft warm light at night. Water is a real resource until we install the well. Showers will be room temperature or colder (portable water). Theres a rechargeable (USB) portable shower head provided. There is plenty of water that is stored there for showers, drinking, laundry and cooking. Basic essentials, extra linen, towels, blankets are provided and a simple way to hand wash clothes and hang them dry. This is a great place for animals with 1 acre of land to roam around protected inside the properties locked cattle fencing. There is a vanity/computer desk there along with a small kitchen table that looks out to the mountains. The cabin is stocked with a variety of food essentials, dishes, pans , teapot, 2 burner propane stove and a TV with Amazon firestick (if you have a generator). Mosquito screen nets are at the front door and the barn doors. The queen tempurpedic bed is situated right next to the barn doors and front windows. Sleeping with a breeze is amazing. If you have kids no problem, a set of bunk beds are there. There is a large pet kennel and cat litter box there for your fury friends. For all the off grid or digital nomads around you'll be happy to know we have excellent reception here, as to the right of the cabin there is a cell phone tower (4 or 5 bars). Tether your phone or pocket wifi with ease! You can stay here with simple yet with some modern comforts surrounded by nature, which in essence not tied to the grid (there is no electricity) There is a chemical toilet there. This might be stealthy for some people. I do still go up there sometimes for that 2-3 day escape as a reset and it does wonders for my mind, body and spirit. It's basic but you have pretty much everything needed essentially. If you have a portable generator or regular gas generator you can use the tv and tether your phone or pocket wifi to the amazon firestick. Netflix and Amazon Prime are for guest use. Enjoy a movie before bed :) I hope you enjoy your stay and my place! Anything I can do to make your stay more comfortable just ask :)

Guest access
You will have access to all the cabin and 1 acre of land that is gated. Enjoy it! Very private and away from city life yet not to far from it :)

Other things to note
I am always at a moments contact if you need anything. Long term stays are welcomed, however water may need to be refilled and the chemical toilet emptied. Special times can be arranged for this, details can be worked out not to interfere with your stay :)
