Pet hair and mice
I booked this trip to celebrate my husbands 50th bday. It started out with a driveway covered in ice and snow and my husband had to shovel. We were told the management does not provide salt. Withen a few hours of arriving my allergies started. I am very allergic to dogs and cats. I reached out to the management team and they apologized. I ended up cleaning off the furniture the best I could with a lint tape roller but just stayed off the furniture in the front room. The following day we found the kitchen to be full of mice poop. I reached out to the management company and was told somone would be out. Shortly later a woman came with mouse traps. I explained there was poop everywhere and she said the cleaning crew would not be out until the next day. I had to clean everything myself with a small bottle of dishsoap. I had a couple kitchen towels and a small bottle of dishsoap and that is it. I did several loads of dishes and once the items came out I placed in a tote I brought since the mice kept appearing with more poop. We did catch 2 mice with the traps but management stopped responding to me. I already cancelled my upcoming trip in Oct. I will never stay anywhere where the name vacasa is. I have yet to hear back. I want money back for my trouble. I am very dissappointed in this trip. The house was stunning and the furniture was beautiful but what good is it when it is full of pet dander and mouse poop all over the kitchen.
