Don't Do It

Horrible my worst experience all around. Starting at check-in, I corresponded with a female property Rep. about checking into the property via text. She informed me I could check in after 12 pm. At 3:30 pm while waiting for a text back with the door code, I see an email sent at 1:57 pm with the code. What happened to text me back? I go to the address given and it was the wrong address, after calling the Rep, and having a heated conversation, I was able to find the property. The property is in a very very bad neighborhood, prostitutes can be seen around the clock, and there's NO way to get to the property without seeing them. The prostitutes serve their clients directly in front of the property. Inside there's a light in the hallway that wouldn't turn off. The Master bedroom is on the front side of the property and makes it impossible to sleep due to the constant traffic from the prostitutes. I contacted customer services and informed the Rep of the situation who called the owner of the property. The Rep connected us and dropped off the line (no help). I explained the case to the Property manager and asked if I could pay for one night and get a refund, to which she said NO. I rented the place for my wife and two sons. My wife refused to even get out of the car and come inside, she and my sons NEVER entered the property. Your assigned one parking spot for your car, which I understand, but you can't park on the street due to criminal activity, so there was nowhere to park my son's car. The following day I text the property manager and told her the property was unsafe, my family didn't feel safe and I had to find other accommodation for the previous night and asked for a refund. She informed me I couldn't get a refund based on the cancellation policy. 30 days in advance for a full refund and 14 days in advance for 50% of my money back. I asked her how was I to know the property was in a bad neighborhood 30 days in advance, how I would know there was no parking on the street, and how I would know there was a light hard-wired on in the sleeping area. She never responded and I haven't from her since. I never returned to the property after the first night. Nine days later I returned to get my phone charger and the door code had been changed, even though my contract was still valid was no help AT ALL. I spoke with a Cust Serv Rep who told me I needed to contact the renter to resolve the problem. Really I did that before I called customer service.

Horrible neighborhood

The pictures are accurate of what the inside of the property looks like and i loved having a washer machine and dryer but they should have showed the outside as well. The neighborhood is so bad that there are women selling themselves walking up and down the street and when my nurse pulled up out front of the home to come care for me someone shot at her car and shot out one of her tires. Also the white sheets on the bed had some brown stains on them that i wasn’t comfortable with so i went out and bought my own.
