About this property

Vacation in the Bavarian Forest paradise

The apartment is located on a small horse farm in the Bavarian Forest National Park. You can expect rest and relaxation, peaceful grazing horses in the pasture, chirping birds and humming bees. The furnished terrace invites you to eat and relax. The adjoining garden can also be shared. The apartment was refurbished in 2020. It has an equipped kitchen with dining area, a large living room with couch and TV on about 100 square meters. There is also a bedroom with a double bed and a single bed in the apartment; on request an extra bed or a baby bed can be provided. The bathroom is equipped for the disabled with a shower and toilet. There is also a separate toilet. We are happy to provide bed linen, dishes and towels for our guests. Our guests can use the washing machine and dryer on request.
The apartment is barrier-free and suitable for the disabled.
If you wish, you can also take your own horse with you or arrange exclusive riding lessons on our own riding horses. You are welcome to bring your dog with you on request.
The Danube Rain Cycle Path is in the immediate vicinity. With us you are right for hiking and trekking. Natural, marked hiking trails lead through the Bavarian Forest. The holiday region Sankt Englmar, which is only about 30 minutes away by car, offers a high-altitude hiking trail, climbing forest and high ropes course, the prerequisites for unforgettable experiences. Whether big or small - there is something for everyone. The family leisure time Edelweis offers free entry to the site. A visit is suitable for all age groups as an eventful and entertaining destination. Treat yourself and your family to a few hours in the zoo and wildlife park at Schloss Ortenburg or enjoy the breathtaking nature of the Danube pass at Weltenburg. But interesting cities are also waiting for you: Straubing with its unique Roman treasure and animal park, the three-river city of Passau with the world's largest cathedral organ or Regensburg Unesco World Heritage can be easily reached on a day trip. But all the castles of the fairytale king Ludwig II and the beautiful Upper Bavarian Alps are also easily accessible.

Kurzurlaub mit Familie

Wir würden sehr herzlich auf den wunderschönen Reiterhof empfangen! Die Ferienwohnung ist sehr großzügig und es ist alles vorhanden was man braucht! Sogar ein Ofen machte es besonders gemütlich und die Gastgeberin hatte für unsere Kinder einen kleinen Bauernhof mit Pferden zum Spielen! Wir kommen wieder :-)

Wunderbarer Urlaub

Ein wirklich schöner Ort zum Urlaub machen. Große, ordentliche, gut ausgestattete Wohnung, eine wunderschöne, große Gartenanlage in ruhiger Lage. Die beiden Hunde sind sehr gut erzogen, auch wenn man manchmal angebellt wird. Der Whirlpool war großartig.

Wunderbares Refugium im Bayerwald

Es gibt Orte, an denen man sich bei der Ankunft sofort zu Hause und gut aufgehoben fühlt. Mit zuvorkommenden Gastgebern, zwei lustigen Wuffis, einer wundervollen Umgebung, Natur pur und trotzdem mit dem Auto oder EBike schnell in schönen Städten wie zB. Straubing oder Aufbruch zu Touren auf dem hervorragend ausgebauten Radwegenetz des bayrischen Waldes. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt und auch die interessanten Gespräche mit den Gastgebern sehr genossen, nebenbei viel erfahren über Pferdewirtschaft und Land und Leute. Dazu hat natürlich auch die gut ausgestattete Ferienwohnung beigetragen, der ausgezeichnete Getränkeservice und das gute Gefühl, jederzeit unkompliziert eine Hilfestellung zu bekommen, wenn dies nötig wäre. Also Erholung pur und ein Ort, an den wir gerne wiederkehren. Vielen Dank!

Ein herrlicher Ort...

Ein herrlicher Ort, nicht nur für`s Home Office (gutes Internet!). Nach herzlicher Begrüßung durch die Familie (zu der auch die Dalmatinerin Malika und der "kleine" Tamaskan Balthasar gehören) haben wir (Ehepaar mit 8-jähriger Hündin) uns sehr schnell zu Hause gefühlt. Trotz "Arbeits"urlaub verbrachten wir hier schöne und entspannte 14 Tage. Große gut ausgestattete Ferienwohnung (sogar mit Whirlpool) in toller Umgebung. Es gibt in der Nähe gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, mehrere empfehlenswerte Gaststätten, gepflegte Badeseen. Regensburg, Straubing und auch das nahe Tschechien sind nur einige lohnende Ausflugsideen. Wir kommen im nächsten Jahr gerne wieder.

Voor ons een heerlijke week: groot, mooi en goed geoutilleerd appartement op een prachtige locatie Bij aankomst op tafel een goed gevulde fruitschaaal en in de koelkast een flesje champagne En verder: de familie Blatz is buitengewoon hartelijk en behulpzaam voor ons krijgt deze bestemming een 10 (auf Deutsch es bekommt eins von uns) !

Traumhaft und schöner wie daheim!

Anfang Juni 2020 waren wir, ein junges Paar mit Hund, zu Gast bei Familie Blatz und durften die Zeit in der traumhaften ferienwohnung genießen. Weil wir einen unverschuldeten Wasserschaden in unserer Mietwohnung hatten musste alles schnell gehen - Frau Blatz war sehr hilfsbereit und die Kommunikation hat bestens funktioniert. Schon als wir ankamen wurden wir freundlich begrüßt, konnten das Auto zum Entladen direkt im Hof parken und nach dem Einräumen wartete sogar noch ein kühles Getränk auf uns. Die Vermieter hatten sogar den Kamin für uns angemacht, damit wir es nicht kalt haben sondern gemütlich und warm - nur eines von vielen liebevollen Details. Frau Blatz sorgte vorbildlich für das Einhalten aller Hygienemaßnahmen (Corona) und das stabile und schnelle WLAN sorgten sogar dafür, dass wir ohne Probleme vom Laptop arbeiten konnten. Alles klappte reibungslos. Die 5 Tage, die wir dort verbracht haben, waren sehr schön: Unser Hund durfte mit der Familienhündin im Hof spielen, mit aufpassen, wer zu Besuch kam und hatte den schönsten Hundeurlaub überhaupt. Wir hingegen konnten die Pferde besuchen und das Hofleben genießen und den Garten nutzen. Der wahnsinnig schöne Hof liegt in der Nähe zu Sankt Engelmar und dem bayerischen Wald, so dass man kurze Wege zum Wandern hat. Weit weg muss man jedoch nicht, auch vor Ort ist es so idyllisch und ein Paradies im grünen - ruhig, atmosphärisch und erholsam. Wir wollten eigentlich wandern gehen aber am Hof war es noch schöner. Familie Blatz hatte für uns immer ein offenes Ohr und wir wurden von Anfang an mit offenen Armen empfangen, so dass uns die Abreise wirklich schwer viel... Das wird sicher nicht das letzte mal, dass wir zu Besuch sind! Alles liebe und bis bald - Daniel, Marie und Sirius.
