About this property
Southern Colonial Home Liberty County West End very close to Fort Stewart
Providence Hall was built in 1908. Located amongst old oak trees with flowing spanish moss. The house is very large (4000sf) and will hold a large family that love to spend time together. The home is located minutes from Fort Stewart and Hinesville, 45 miles from Historic Savannah Georgia. Centrally located allowing day trips to South Carolina or Florida in just a couple of hours.
Providence Hall is very much a hidden gem. There is a white mail box and a flowing “Welcome Y’all” flag at the driveway. I will work on making it easier to find but still protect the privacy that we cherish. Please read Information about the BEES ! There are bees on the outside of the home near the chimney-
Providence Gardens completely surrounds the home with azaleas, 57 varieties of camelias, and wisteria. Huge pine trees, magnolia trees as well as the majestic Oak trees keep the property almost hidden from the world outside. The property owners have always had a barrier of foliage along the property lines, we have tried to respect the boundaries but had to do some major trimming to get control of the over growth. There once was a green house on the grounds and unfortunately a recent hurricane damaged it beyond repair. Unfortunately , there are remains of it pushed up at the back of the property line awaiting removal. Please pardon the messy progress..
Don't be surprised if during your visit you think you have visitors from the spirited side, Providence Hall has a few friendly spirits that roam the home. The spirits are well documented as we have had several paranormal teams investigate the home!
The house has been rented over the last 7 years to 4 different families. None of the families have had negative experiences with the spirits at the home. Many of the people had no experience whatsoever but the ones that are sensitive to spirits have felt things from seeing figures pass the doorways to catching figures in photos. Some have heard bumps in the night! All former tenants love the home and want to see it restored and flourish
The home was donated for use of Liberty Humane Shelter, a non profit animal shelter by the late owner Amanda Cox. All proceeds will go directly to the welfare of the animals at the shelter. So by enjoying this beautiful home you are directly contributing to the care of the animals at our facility. Thank you in advance for your support
Please be advised that Providence Hall is a new listing and is still very much learning this new process as we go. The home is in the process of having renovations made and will continue to have renovations as funds become available through this process. (No work will go on during your stay ) Your stay will be a work free zone but please be patient as we make this home into a spectacular vacation home.
The home has recently been painted on the inside and is scheduled for outside paint and maintenance to be performed in Early January so please be patient with us if you visit and understand that those repairs and beautification with be done very soon.
The Gardens at Providence are a sight to see in full bloom. The camelias are fall-winter bloomers and in the spring all the other flowers come alive!
***** Please BEE aware there is a bee hive at the far side of the home. Please DO NOT DISTURB the BEES! They have never bothered anyone in the 15 years that I have been going to the home. A bee keeper has been contacted to relocate them but it has not yet been done. If you are allergic to bees please be advised that there are bees present around the home . A few may enter the home but that is rare.
Providence Hall allows early check ins , as well as late check outs ! We feel this will allow our guests adequate time to rest and relax the day of arriving as well as spend quality family time with family before leaving on the day of check out. Other arrangements may be made if an earlier check In or later check out is necessary.
Providence Hall is located only two miles from a Walmart Neighborhood Market and about 4 -5 miles from Longhorn, Chik-fil-A, Starbucks, Dunkin Donuts, Chipotle, Chilis and many many more.

As a VRBO client, my family rents vacation homes therefore I know what I look for and what would make a stay easier on us and I have implemented those things at Providence Hall. I hope everyone agrees that it makes the stay easier. If your family is in need of anything in particular, please let me know and I will try to accommodate your needs.
The coffee/tea bar is fully stocked for your enjoyment. Any food/drink items located at the home are there for our guests. Please feel free to enjoy them. Popcorn is in the pantry for snacking. Spices and plenty of kitchen gadgets and appliances are there for you to enjoy.
