Perfect spirited family getaway

Providence Hall takes you back in time as soon as you walk into the home. The atmosphere Is spirited in a positive way. The rooms are huge. We can’t adequately convey how great this place is. It’s an easy drive to Savannah.

A step back in time

We loved the old house and the old time feel. It had a lot of character and a lot of antiques but also friendly for kids of all ages. They just said put it up high if little hands would touch it. We would love to come to this same house for another vacation. We were all sad to leave!

Cool old house

Sandra was great and easy to reach. Cool old. house but needs some serious work on the outside. Over front porch need to cut down huge dead branch. Kids loved the house and yards

Providence Hall

This home was everything we hoped for and more!! The bedrooms are huge and can easily accommodate multiple people with no one feeling crowded. We ended up accommodating 11 people during our stay and could have easily had more. Sandra is an amazing host, absolutely one of the best I’ve rented from and communicates before, during, and after your stay for anything you may need. Our entire family enjoyed our stay here (adults, teens, and children) and have all agreed we would stay again on our next Georgia trip. It was just private enough to enjoy peaceful time together but convenient enough to make quick runs for anything we needed! A++ !!!!

It’ll do

Very large old home. Things that weren’t advertised were the infestation of bees on the outside of the home. They get into the living room with a large quantity dead in the light fixtures. The Wi-Fi constantly disconnects. Home is in immediate need of repairs. Overall the place works to sleep, shower and cook. Not the best for relaxing inside or out compared with the price to rent.

I am sorry if your trip was not as pleasant as you would have liked. If you ever decide to come back through the area, maybe you will try it again and we will have some more improvements made to the home. As for the Bees- it is well advertised in the home listing - unfortunately you were at the home during a peak in heat that made them more active. I have had them looked at and unfortunately there’s not much that can be done except exterminating them and the late home owner insisted that they be left as they are. I will make another attempt to relocate them in the fall winter and maybe that will work this time. Thank you for renting from us and we sincerely hope that you will visit the area again

Classic Old South Home

Hello, if you like old houses and don't mind the quirks that come along with them, this might be the place for you. An old home, and while there have been updates it still retains charm, style , and sense of history. Tucked-in off of the main road ; it would be best to arrive in the daytime so you find more easily the driveway. I arrived after dark and did not notice the entrance at first ; but once found, you are prepared for the next time in your comings and goings. The yard is large with plantings all around , lending a sense of seclusion. The scent of the star jasmine blossoms permeated the air in the mornings. The large camellias would be impressive in the fall or winter. The porch at the entryway is large enough that we took our breakfasts seated there. Inside, the house is a four- over -four layout, with wide hallways. Overall the house has more of a formal flair but we were able to be comfortable, too. Just like at Grandma's house, some things are for looking, not touching; same applies here. The kitchen is updated , and well-supplied with utensils and cookware. The four large bedrooms are upstairs; each bedroom does not have its own bathroom, so pair up the guests accordingly. Communication with the property manager was wonderful, more like talking to a friend than someone you just met. I had the feeling that any issues would have been addressed promptly. I've already considered staying here again.
