About this property

The river runs along the back yard . Max. 6 night stay. Must have past positive reviews. The space is 7 1/2 miles to Sequoia National Park Ash Mountain main entrance, 1 1/2 miles to Village Market, and 5 minutes by car to Lake Kaweah and Slick Rock. Close to rafting, hiking, sightseeing, and restaurants all surrounded by the beautiful Sierras. Neighborhood is conducive to walking. Owner has a separate space on site.

Not all cell phones work in the area since this is a rural mountainous environment. Internet sometimes slow. To the best of my knowledge AT&T, Cricket, Metro, Verizon, and Mint phones work and T-Mobile does not work. There is a TV in the bedroom. There is not a TV in the great room.

Three Rivers elevation is around 800 feet; however Sequoia Naitonal Park is higher and gets snow. Please check the Sequoia National Park website for cuurent conditions. A road could be closed. Sometimes chains are required. No matter what the little town of Three Rivers is a fun pace to hang out!

Located in Three Rivers, this guesthouse is in a rural area and on a river. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks and Sequoia National Parks Ash Mountain Entrance. Our Place Playground and Bravo Lake Botanical Garden are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.

Quiet, comfortable getaway

Great place, great host!! Had a small box of chocolates with my name on it i thought that was very thoughtful and personal, place had everything we need including fresh coffee beans and bean grinder. Had a great view from the bedroom very nice, relaxing stay! My favorite VRBO i have ever rented.

Very pleasant, quiet, relaxing stay by the fire

Celebrated my birthday with my wife, enjoyed the local restaurants and bars. Crisp weekend by the fire. We will definitely do this again.

Living in the Bay Area, I wanted a cabin in the woods, and Ibegan looking in Downieville and camped further south each weekend. I found my "cabin" in Three Rivers. Today the suite facing the seasonal river is for guests. I have a separate apartment on site, but the suite facing the river is yours.

Why they chose this property

The property is on a Seasonal river; on December 24, 2023, the river is running! The space is 1 1/2 miles from Village Market, 7 1/2 miles from Sequoia National Park. It is one story. There isplenty of parking,,.. Some vacation sites list this as being on Lake Kaweah. It is not. Lake Kaweah is 5 minutes by car. The house does not have a laundry. There is a TV in the master bedroom. There is not a TV in the great room.

What makes this property unique

This property is on a Seasonal river, As of January 18 2024, the river in the back yard is up and running! 1 1/2 miles from Village Market, 7 1/2 miles from Sequoia National Park main entrance, one story, plenty of parking,, not steep.. I saw some vacation sites are listing this property as being on Lake Kaweah which it is not. Lake Kaweah is 5 minutes away by car. This house does not have a laundry and it has one screen TV in the master bedroom. There is often wildlife roaming around in the yard. Could be turkey, bear, bobcat, or a couple mallard ducks or an egret on the river bank.
