Relax with family or close friends at this peaceful lake cabin. Osprey Lake is a quiet and clear lake that is known for great fishing year round. This cabin’s location is ideal for getting out of town and enjoying nature, yet close enough to enjoy events, restaurants and shopping in Hayward.

This location offers the option to simply relax and watch for loons, hummingbirds, and the occasional black bear, or to be adventurous and paddle the canoe (provided) through a beautiful channel to Little Round Lake and Round Lake.

Nearby amenities include snowmobiling and ski trails, local restaurants, a casino, and all the charm Hayward has to offer.

Peaceful getaway

Property was as advertised, Osprey Lake was also a pleasant surprise as we did better than expected. If we had any concern it would be the water, a softener and iron removal system is needed. All in all we’ll definitely be back.

Why they chose this property

We fell in love with this area and this lake and property in particular because of it's natural beauty and how quiet it is out here. Collin loves fishing in this lake on peaceful mornings, Miranda loves paddling around the lake, and our daughter loves picking wild raspberries and blueberries, and we all enjoy swimming in the clear water on hot summer days. We also love coming out here in the winter to enjoy the outdoor recreation opportunities including the amazing cross country ski trails as well as just relaxing in the cozy cabin.

What makes this property unique

This cabin gives you a feeling of being at the Boundary Waters, while still being a short distance from many cities. This is one of the most peaceful lake cabins you will find.
