Air show gem

I flew into Shreveport to visit my son who is stationed at Barksdale AFB and watch the air show that was in town. The place was perfect, exactly how it’s pictured and in a very cute, quiet neighborhood. We were able to cook meals and relax after being outside in the Louisiana sun all afternoon both days. It was perfect for us and will definitely stay again next time I come to town.

We were impressed from the moment we walked through the back door, into a large, very clean and warm kitchen. The place smelled so fresh! Home was very clean and in a nice family oriented neighborhood. It could use a little more attention to detail. All rooms only have one bedside table. The master definitely needs both and has the room for it. Adding command strips in the shower would be nice for wash clothes. No major complaints, thanks for the nice stay. We may catch you same time next year!

Great Location

Location is central to Bossier City, Minden and other parts of LA that my relatives reside. It is close to food and gas stations. Owner, Dexter forgot that we were staying there, which would not have been a big issue had he offered better customer service. We were NOT allowed to have relatives come over to visit us, which was the main reason we chose the location and not God's Country Cabins. There was a nail pertruding from the baseboard of the bathtub which created a hazard, but other than that, the home was warm, clean and inviting. If you are staying here to visit relatives, I would recommend staying elsewhere. If you are staying here to enjoy a peaceful, quiet filled trip, I would recommend.
