N°7 is a 140m² 4 bedroom presidential suite with fantastic views of Acropolis, Temple of Zeus, National Garden & Lycabettus both from indoor and outdoor and an exclusive roof garden. The main archaeological sites will literally be on your feet. You can move everywhere by foot while the Acropolis metro station is just 10’ away. Ma Maison Acropolis Mansion Suite N° 7 is a unique suite with a private roof garden located in Mets, right in the heart of Athens. This is the right place if you want to discover the city. It is one of the most classy and sophisticated neighborhoods in Athens (often called as "Montmartre of Athens") with a lot of shops (supermarkets, bakeries, coffee shops, fruit markets, traditional Greek restaurants, pharmacies, etc).
The suite is situated in a fully renovated grand neoclassical house with high ceilings. The 115m² first floor has one living room, one dining room, one kitchen, one big hallway, three bedrooms, and two full bathrooms (one bathroom has a jetted shower cabin). There is an extra bedroom of 25m² (the fourth) located on the roof garden, which has an ensuite bathroom that is separate from the first floor suite. Just in front of the house there is an archaeological site, the temple of Artemis Agrotera. It has balconies back and forth and big openings with fantastic unobstructed views of Acropolis, Temple of Zeus, National Garden, Zappeion, Filopappou and Lycabettus Hills from the interior of the suite. Another unique feature is the private roof garden that can be accessed through an external staircase and offers the best views in Athens.
You can come very easily from the airport through Metro network. There is also a link through the Metro network from the port of Piraeus. Acropolis metro station is 500 meters away.

Athens experience

This is an amazing property. Living quarters are clean, organized and well appointed. Private roof top deck is wonderful with amazing views of the Acropolis. Everything you need is within walking distance. You will not be disappointed.

Perfect spot in Athens

We were in Athens for just two nights before wrapping up our Greece trip. Ma Maison Acropolis Mansion was the perfect spot for us. Check in was smooth, we met one of the managers who walked us through the home and showed us where everything is. There was coffee, wine, water for us to enjoy. And we did! Our first night, we poured some wine and enjoyed the sunset behind the Acropolis from the balcony. It’s truly a special view and experience. The apartment is 15 minutes form the Acropolis and 15 mins from shopping at the Plaka. Yannis and his team were very communicative and responsive to our questions. Would absolutely stay here again.

Great property with stunning views from patio - just as advertised

We were travelling as a family of 7 (four adults and three teenagers). We rented this property for two nights via Vrbo during the first week of August 2023. There are typically three reasons why we might prefer an apartment over a hotel room at any point – 1) a group too large to be accommodated together in a single hotel room, 2) specific amenities (like a kitchen), or 3) a property that’s so unique that no hotels can provide something comparable – this apartment checked all three boxes. It was very spacious and well appointed, had a separate bedroom/bathroom on a higher floor separated from the rest of the unit (very private), and a massive patio with stunning views of the main Athens attractions – for us, the patio alone was enough to justify renting this apartment. Our host Yannis was very helpful and responsive. We also had arranged for an airport pickup and drop-off in a van large enough to accommodate our group and luggage; the driver associated with this rental (Tolis) provided us with very reliable transportation – was perfectly on time for both pick-ups, and the cost was very reasonable. We highly recommend this property.

Spectacular

This amazing Penthouse is located within walking distance to everything. Restaurants and shopping are only a block away. The rooms are clean, spacious and tastefully decorated with a modern elegant look. There were 5 people in our group and we all had plenty of room with three bathrooms to use. The highlight was the rooftop garden. It was very hot when we stayed, but we spent our evenings sipping cocktails looking out at the breathtaking Acropolis and the entire view of the city of Athens. The warm breeze on the roof was refreshing. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home. The perfect place to stay if your in the city of Athens!

We are Yannis and Rena, "fellow travelers" for the last twenty years. In 2016 we decided to do something that we love very much, through VRBO.
The Greek word ΦΙΛΟΞΕΝΙΑ=hospitality is of a particular importance in the Greek culture. It’s a compound word from ΦΙΛΩ=LOVE and ΞΕΝΟΣ=GUEST and refers to the act of nestling and caring of a guest by the host. It was an institution for the ancient Greeks to welcome and take care of the guests at their home. They believed particularly in the idea of hospitality and regarded it as a moral duty and a sacred rule of the gods (Xenios Zeus was the protector of the guests). They offered them bath and sleep and they greeted them with gifts. The host and the guest were linked with friendly ties, which where inherited to their descendants.
This is our inheritance.

Why they chose this property

Mets is a small neighborhood, very close to all the main touristic attractions of the city center(it is a 10 minutes walk from Acropolis and just 5 minutes from Kallimarmaro Stadium)but it is not touristic at all. It is located on Ardittos hill. A little bit of Montmartre, a little bit of East London, this is a place you should discover if you want to visit one of the most charming areas of Athens. Mets took its name from the beer house that was established on the hill in 1870 by the Bavarians who accompanied King Otto to Greece. In the 19th century, due to the area's proximity to the Palace and the city center, the neighborhood was populated by middle-class families who built elegant, big neoclassical houses and changed the character of the area completely. It is now considered one of the most stylish neighborhoods of the city. Many artists, musicians, actors, painters have moved in Mets and have given it a more bohemian character. A handful of shops, cafes, bars and restaurants in the area create a more cozy atmosphere. Added to all the above, many streets and houses offer views and glimpses of Acropolis, an ever-dominant shape of the Athenian skyline and eternal symbol of high art
