Come stay at the Keeper's Cabin and hunt for diamonds at the Crater of Diamond's State Park. This little cabin has everything you need for a comfortable stay including a queen size bed, twin bed, dining table, mini fridge, coffee maker and microwave.

The cabin is located only 1 mile from the park entrance. It is also close to Lake Greeson and the Little Missouri River, a popular place for trout fishing.

Cabin was spacious and clean. Great location to the Crater of the Diamonds National Park. Less than 5 minute drive. The owner was great to work with. I had put in the wrong dates of arrival and he worked with me till it was fixed. He went above and beyond.

Perfect Place to Stay for Gem Hunting!!

We absolutely loved this little place!! It was clean along with everything being close and convenient, including the diamond state park. The owner was very responsive & informative about the area, in regards to recommendations!! The beds are super comfortable, which is always a plus when you are rock/gem hounding all day!! We had a blast and appreciate being welcomed into the home. Highly recommended..

Perfect for diamond mining!

The cabin was perfect for our visit to Crater of Diamonds SP. There was plenty of room for our family of four plus our 40 pound pup. Every basic need was available including a mini fridge, microwave, portable cook top, fire ring, picnic table, and grill outside. Bring a small pot or pan if you plan on using the cooktop. I didn’t see any at the cabin, but we also didn’t use it, so wasn’t really looking. The AC units were COLD and the hot water plentiful. I especially LOVED that there was provided mining equipment and chairs on loan.

Great Location for Diamond Park

Being 1 mile from the diamond park was so convenient. Easy to be there by opening time in order to beat the heat of the day. You can also come and go from the park with your receipt so it was easy to come right back for lunch.Lots of towels, well stocked kitchenette. Pillows or bed smelled musty/moldy. I would replace that couch! It's got no seat support and with my bad knees I sat on it once and wondered if I'd ever get out of it. The recliner was nice and having DirecTV was great.Thank you for welcoming pets! Much appreciated. Owner was very responsive and also provided digging tools for the park.

Wanted to go to crater of diamonds for my birthday didn't want to stay to far away from there this was the perfect place. This place was better than the pictures would stay there again if it was closer to Ohio.

Great Experience

This was a great location for Crater of Diamonds (less than 5 min drive). Rustic cabin gave my family the feel of staying in a mining camp. Will definitely be returning.
