Cozy, relaxing stay

Well appointed kitchen and comfy beds. We had fun playing darts and were only about 15 minutes to Breitenbush which was the reason for our visit. Great communication with the host.

Cute getaway

It has been a long year so far for both my husband and I. We don’t leave the dogs behind if we can help it and finding an awesome place that accepts dogs at a reasonable $ can be hard. We felt very happy and relaxed and chill almost instantly when we opened the door. The back yard fire pit is what we utilized as soon as we unpacked. Not only for dinner but the complimentary s’more makings for dessert. Wonderful start to the rest and retreat 🙃

Rustic yet modern

Very pleasant, well appointed abode. Looks like a cabin from the outside, but new and modern inside. It’s in a neighborhood devastated by fire, and many lots are still vacant. There is some highway noise, but that is common on the hillside above town. Otherwise, a very quiet and private getaway, perfect as a base for exploring the area. We spent two days at Breitenbush, where fire also had its way. Detroit is undergoing a rebirth these days, great to see it and Breitenbush literally rising from the ashes.
