Forget your worries in this spacious and serene space. “Hazel” is perfect for a weekend getaway or an extended stay for work or play. Peachtree House is located in the lovely Belhaven Historic District steps from Belhaven University and a short drive from Millsaps College, the State Capitol, restaurants, shopping, area hospitals, event and wedding venues, and much more! Rent up to four apartments to accommodate larger parties of up to 16 guests.
The space.
This apartment is in the lower left quadrant of a 1937 era four-plex. Parking is in the rear with a short stone bridge over a fish pond. Cross over the stone patio to the rear door and enter, take three steps up and enter Apartment “Hazel” on your right. This hallway also houses the laundry closet and stairs to two upstairs apartments. Upon entering Hazel, you will take several steps inside kitchen and look to your left to turn on the overhead light switch.
The apartment is generous in size with wood and ceramic tile floors and good closet space. Enjoy the large patio night and day.

Other things to note
This entire building with 8 bedrooms and 4 baths would be a beautiful accommodation for a bridal party. There are several lovely spots for photos on site and across the street on the campus of Belhaven University.

Our Stay

Good place with a full kitchen. Liked the bedroom and bathroom setup. Host answered quickly when we could not get the back door open.

Baby Shower Weekend

I rented this place for my son and his family. It was beautiful and comfortable. Great location and the host was so personable and helpful. Great communication!!! We will be renting from her for an entire month when the baby comes and many more dates in the future.

I am a local Realtor and love architecture and real estate. My husband (a business man) and I have lived in Jackson for most of our lives and appreciate what Jackson has to offer. We have raised six children here and are now enjoying grandchildren growing up nearby.

Location, location, location! In the heart of historic Belhaven, you can be almost anywhere in less than 15 minutes. Walk to local favorite restaurants and coffee shops or bars. A 5-min. car ride will get you to many more choices of the same, plus theatres and museums, the opera, symphony, Thalia Mara Hall, the State Fair grounds, MS Coliseum, Capitol Building, and more.
This also happens to be one of the prettiest buildings in Jackson that you can rent. It is a large brick Tudor home, divided into four equal apartments, with lots of windows and a view of the beautiful Belhaven University campus. Enjoy the serene back patio with Coy pond as you sip your coffee or glass of wine.
Value! You can rent a whole apartment for less than many hotel rooms.
