IN THE HEART OF SISTER BAY!!!

LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION! Besides the awesome water views from the front porch, this house is walkable to everything Sister Bay has to offer! The beach is literally steps away where you can soak up the sun and rent kayaks and paddle boards. Walk to some of the best restaurants in Door County - Chop, Lure, Husby's, Al Johnson's, Grasses, Sister Bay Bowl, Wild Tomato, Boathouse and several coffee shops. Take your chairs to the amphitheater and listen to live music or watch movies on the big screen during the summer. There is also a playground for the kids to play, The marina is also a short walk where you can watch the beautiful sunsets or rent your own boat or go on one of the tour boats.

This house has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The family room has vaulted wood ceilings, dry bar, a large fireplace and open concept so everyone can enjoy each other. This house has a large front porch with a gas firepit so you can enjoy the lake and all the action and also a private back yard with large deck and fire pit for when you want to escape the hustle and bustle. It's the best of both worlds and is perfect for families of all ages.

Lovely

Great updated ranch style home. Comfy beds and plenty of kitchen utensils and cookware. Bonus was being close to Sisterbay. Definitely stay here again!

Adorable comfy home with fully sticked kitchen

Our family absolutely loved our stay! We celebrated Thanksgiving there and were pleasantly surprised at how stocked the kitchen was. So easy to find everything we needed. We took several walks down by the water which is right out the front door. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Wonderful visit!

This is a lovely lake house in a superb location. Great restaurants and beautiful views with everything in walking distance. Hosts were very responsive and helpful. Would recommend and will definitely be visiting again!

Very nice place, can see lake from porch

It smelled clean and was well decorated. Rooms were nice, patio and yard with fire and grill was great. Very relaxing. Plenty of supplies available such as dishes, soap, toilet paper, etc. We really had a great time and hope to return next year. perfect location.

There were six of us and the house was perfect size for our stay. Great location in Sister Bay. Home was very clean with many update. The owner included many great small touches that made our stay enjoyable. Would definitely stay there again!

Weekend getaway

We have been vacationing in Door County for years. This is our 3rd family vacation using VRBO. This is our first time at this wonderful home so close to the bay. We were very happy with this home - great location, comfortable beds, family room sectional also very comfortable, very clean, had everything you needed, felt like a home away from home. Chris always responded quickly when I had questions. We will definitely come back here.

A gem in sister bay!

Wonderful house in an awesome location in sister bay! We could walk to everything! The house is nicely updated and very clean, cute backyard, front patio with water views. We had an awesome time!

Spring Break

We had a wonderful time in Door County. The house is so comfortable and cozy. Everything you need is there and Chris is quick to answer any questions. We will definitely go back one day.

My girlfriends and I absolutely loved our stay at your lovely home. This place had all the amenities and more. Very clean and plenty of room. We loved the updated kitchen and baths. Great location and space

We were looking for a space to accommodate 3 couples on a trip to Door County for some rest and relaxation. This space was perfect for the 6 of us! We loved the comfy couch and large windows in the dining area. We played many board games and cooked a bunch of delicious food here. The location was also great and walkable to all Sister Bay has to offer. Chris and Dan were great to work with as well - including sending a tip about an event going on the weekend we were there. We would definitely rent this place again!

Fall trip

The location was fantastic. It is right behind a park on Sister Bay. It's also only a block off main street and close to restaurants and shops. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We wished the wind hadn't been so strong so we could have had a a fire in the backyard pit. The front deck has a bar height table with a gas fire circle and did get to use that once. The owners are very responsive to questions.

Comfy Home

This house was more than we expected. Its roomy, feels at home and is great to be within walking distance to everything Sister Bay has to offer. I have rented 3 other times in this area, never with a Super Host. It sure makes a nice difference with a Super Host. Will hope to rent this place again if it is available!

Walking distance to everything in Sister Bay

The house had a great layout. All of the common areas have a great flow. We had six in our group and the accommodations worked out well. Used the campfire every night and enjoyed the front deck every morning over coffee. You are one block from the main street so you do here the business/tourist noses but they do not detract from enjoying the back yard. Good communication with the owners This house is great for a family or adults looking to park their car and enjoy urban and marina living.

Walk to everything!

Door County is beautiful even in the dead of winter. We loved this property and would book again without question. Chris was so easy to work with and made us feel welcome right from the first email. The home is very inviting with comfortable beds, a well stocked kitchen, nice towels and a lovely fireplace to enjoy on those cold nights. The house is right in the heart of Sister Bay which means you can walk to everything - bars, restaurants, the bowl -even when it's freezing out!! Very highly recommend.

Updated nicely. Very clean. Nice amenities including body soap, quality cookwear. Comfortable.

Walk right into town where all the action is, but view of lake. Able to catch peak fall colors although weather was cool and rainy. Husband prefers more secluded setting, however. Duraflame logs only recommended bought in town were 4 hours burning. Problem if you want shorter time to enjoy fireplace.

Loved our stay!

My husband and I reserved this property for a 3 night stay with my parents, sister, and brother-in-law. We had planned to cook several of our meals at the house, and we were pleased to find everything we needed in the kitchen. The master bedroom was spacious and comfy, and the master bathroom shower had awesome water pressure! The second bathroom (while quite small) wasn't a problem for our group. The open living/dining/kitchen area was comfortable for the 6 of us to watch a movie, eat a meal, or play a game. The patio on the front of the house had a heater which came in handy on the cooler days. The back yard/patio was private and spacious for grilling and campfires. We were right across the street from the beach, and everything in Sister Bay was within a short 5 minute walk. The weather was not ideal, but several of the bars and restaurants had indoor and outdoor seating available. On our final evening in Sister Bay, we went to Chop for dinner. The food and service were 5 star! My husband ordered the scallops at the recommendation of the server. He said they were the best he has ever tasted. We also recommend Al Johnson's for breakfast! If you like ice cream, there are 3 or 4 different options in this small town. We might have tried them all :) Dan and Chris were prompt in their communication and answered all of our questions. If we are ever back in the area, we would love to stay here again!

My husband and I purchased this property after staying at a friend's condo in Sister Bay. We had not been to Door County in 15 years and came with our three kids and had a blast. We were not looking but this property was for sale and we knew it was a great loaction and made an offer that weekend. Best decision ever. We love Door County and especially Sister Bay. There has been so many great changes to the village since we bought our house. We are glad to be able to share our house while also enjoying it ourselves.

Why they chose this property

This property is in the perfect location. You literally can park your car and walk to everything Sister Bay has to offer. The huge fireplace was definitely a selling point as we love Door County in the winter months.
