Perfect location! Condo was clean and had everything needed. The pool was warm and the little beach was the perfect place to watch the sunset. We would definitely come back.
We enjoyed this area for touring the keys. The pool area was so nice and be able to relax in the chairs along the water. Great view of sunset. The only complaint we have in this unit needs new furniture in living room area. Otherwise we enjoyed this condo would come back

Futura Yacht Club 2-bed condo rental
No complaints here--unit was in great condition with many nice touches. Nice views and a great place to be in the keys. Also, very nice gated community with many friendly people also staying there. Very nice pool and community building. Great sunsets everyday. The owner was friendly, attentive and delivered.
We throughly enjoyed our stay! Condo is in need of a few adjustments though. When you’re settled in for the night and want to watch tv there really isn ’t much available and doesn’t broadcast in HD. The bathrooms are very tiny but workable and the one in the master needs the handle fixed, you have to hold it down to flush. However having said that the Futura yacht club is wonderful to be at whether you have a boat or not. Very nice pool and walking area. Didn’t want to leave sunny and warm Florida!

Desperate need of remodel
This unit is in need of remodel all around. The kitchen and bathrooms were in poor shape. The living room furniture was dated and very uncomfortable. Water would back up while taking a shower. The owner required keys to be picked up from her personal residence instead of having them readily available at condo location which was an inconvenience. Once we picked up the keys she said she was going to follow us there to check for another key she forgot(didn't understand why she didn't just meet us at condo) The owners communication seemed to come from a place of "prying" as her questions seemed as though she was untrustworthy of her renters. We have rented several dozens of properties throughout the US and Europe and this was the first where the owner asked the same standard questions several times before check-in.

Response from VrboOwner on 24 July 2020
When you reserved our condo through Vrbo, you agreed to the signing and submitting required Agreements to complete the reservation. Unfortunately, during the course of 3 weeks, all Agreements were not signed and submitted. After many attempts to get this sorted, I still didn't receive the paperwork till Check in day !
Complex gate cards and Unit door codes are not given till the paperwork is in order. The unfortunate result was a inconvenient check in for both of us, and a last minute scramble for me to get the paperwork registered with the front office.
We appreciate our guests understanding, cooperation, and respect in the requirements of the Condo Association. Adhering to the Rules and Requirements is what makes Futura Yacht Club a safe and special place.
We enjoyed our stay. The accommodations were very good. The yacht club was great. We enjoyed the pool and beach area. It is close to many restaurants and attractions.
My 2 girlfriends and I stayed here for a week and the condo was EXACTLY as pictured. I was surprised at the small touches like hotel sized shampoo, conditioner, make-up removal cloths and such. I didn't expect that. There was a blow dryer and even a flat iron (not sure if someone left it by mistake).
The kitchen was nicely equipped with all the usual small appliances, plenty of dishes, utensils and even serving pieces. There was even a basket with a variety of spices. We only cooked a few breakfasts, couple lunches and 1 dinner, but really could have cooked for the full week if we had chosen too.
There was a complimentary washer and dryer for every floor.
The grounds were well taken care of as was the building's lobby area.
The pool was large, heated and had plenty of loungers around it. My only suggestion might be a few umbrellas amongst the loungers. The sun gets pretty hot and sitting out in the afternoon was tough. There was a very large covered area with seating and a couple tables with chairs.
The gated complex is small with about 20 townhouses surrounding the marina and a 6 floor condo building. We were on the 5th floor so had a beautiful view of the Florida Bay and you could see the Atlantic on the other side.
A few evenings we brought drinks down to the beach area and watched the sun set...so relaxing.
Very few owners actually live there full time, most buy the units and then rent them out. We met many people who come year after year and I can see why.
The location was good, about 2 hours from Ft. Lauderdale airport, 1/2 hour from Key Largo and 2 hours from Key West. We explored many of the different islands, each one has its own personality. Beware, with only 1 road, traffic can be a bear! Found many great restaurants close by. Twisted Shrimp had the BEST fried shrimp I've ever had! Lourilei was great also. Theatre Of The Seas was awesome.
Next time we decide to vacation in The Keys, we will definitely stay here.
My family of 4 stayed her for an escape from the cold. The condo has everything that you could need. Perfect for parents and 2 kids max. The only improvement could have been more comfortable seating in the living room. The condo was extremely clean and the laundry room is steps away from the unit. It was an enjoyable stay.
Condo was in a great location with a lovely pool area and bay location. Saw great sunsets from the water. Great new kitchen. Master bed very comfortable. We were basically in the unit to sleep and have breakfast in. Balcony is lovely. Only recommendation would be a new sofa would be great. We would definitely visit again.
Older condo that was comfortable, fully stocked, with nice amenities like charcoal bbqs, tennis courts and a large heated pool. The location was central to all of the things that were available to do in the area. Would definitely consider staying here again.
We have stayed at the Futura previously but not this unit. It is a very nice unit on the 5th floor with some great views. The WIFI was a little rough but that's the only negative which is in reality not an issue. I would stay in this unit again.
Great location in a marina with easy access to the water. The pool and pool house were more than adequate, and pool was large size. The washer/dryer were not in the condo, but in the hall just outside. The washer/dryer were brand new excellent units, and shared with others, but we never had to wait to use them.
We were in town for scuba diving, and there are several shops right down the street, within 2 miles or so. Plenty of great restaurants and shops with a couple of miles as well. A large public park was only 1/2 mile away, but they charged a ridiculous $20 (or was it $25?) entrance fee per person for non-residents. But take your bike and you can enter at the SE corner with no hassle. Nice park, and probably the only beach worth visiting so far, but it's not worth that fee. But if you're going to the Keys, you probably weren't going for the beach anyway.
The unit has a nice comfortable balcony (room for 2 at the table) that looks over the pool and tennis courts, with the north view (bay?) to the left and south view (open ocean) to the right. The view is nice.
If you want to spend you time watching Netflix and Hulu (we did not), note that the TV is an older model. It's not a smart TV, so you cannot access those services. You'll need to bring a laptop. The wifi was fine so that shouldn't be a problem. The channels available via satellite for fine for us.
Overall, I'd highly recommend this place. We wouldn't certainly consider it again.
We enjoyed our stay at this condo very much. The property is located directly on the Gulf and centrally located between scuba diving to the north and fishing to the south. Marker 88 Restaurant is within walking distance, and all the other local hot spots, shopping, etc are within a ten minute drive. It's perfect for a couple or small family of four. I had a friend visit, too, and he slept on the pullout couch. It has everything you need, utensils, coffee filters, etc. and even some condiments and other supplies, like beach towels, beach chairs, tennis rackets and balls. I cooked two full meals there with no problem. It has a nice dining area and two bedrooms. The glass sliding door and middle panel open together and so the wall of glass opens to the outside, best couch nap ever, drifting off to a breezy view of the deep blue water. We watched many memorable sunsets directly off the balcony, and you can also see the Atlantic off to the right. The property is an oasis of quiet off the bustling strip and there are hammocks and Adirondack chairs for relaxing directly on the waterfront. Great pool area, too, and tennis courts. I highly recommend this property.
Loved staying here. The views of the Gulf were amazing. Loved spending time on the balcony, very peaceful. Condo was fully stocked with everything we needed during our stay.
Nice pool with plenty of chairs.. The beach area to watch the sunset was beautiful. We saw manatees and nurse sharks along with a variety of fish in the boat dock area. Grills throughout the property which we took advantage of. Close to good restaurants and stores.
Would definitely stay in this condo again. Had a great time.
This property is a great location, easy to get in and out and awesome. It will not disappoint. Fantastic location. Well situated for restaurants, beaches and fishing. Definitely a repeat visit in the future. Thanks for letting us stay!!!
