My Alpine Shack - Luxury Cabin / Walk to Downtown / Hot tub

"My Alpine Shack," is a small home with B I G personality! This cozy "Haus" is just a short walk into town...stroll through this Bavarian-style village while enjoying top-notch restaurants, German inspired bars, tubing, the mountain coaster and all the fun Oktoberfest has to offer (mid September- end of October). 


The Space 
Experience the charm of this luxurious, cozy cabin nestled on a private road. Our "smart-home" has been completely  remodeled and is ready to meet all of your vacation needs. It features a primary bedroom with a king bed on the lower level and 2 full beds on the upper. 
The master's plush king will provide a nightly hug and warm place to dream...not quite tired yet, stream your favorite movie or show (HBO, Netflix, Prime, Disney +, Hulu, or Sling) on the smart/flat screen TV. 
The loft can accommodate 2 people easily with two full-sized beds. On the opposite side of the room, enjoy an entertainment space complete with a cocktail arcade (160+ games) futon and smart TV. 


Patio
Step outside on the multi-level deck and enjoy the 4-person hot tub. 
On the lower level, sip your morning coffee surrounded by endless forest views and soothing sounds of the nearby stream. 
Feel like a BBQ?! This area is complete with a gas grill and brand-new patio furniture. 


Guest Access
The key-less entry code will be changed to the last 4 digits of your phone number right before check-in. This is the phone number you have on file with the booking platform you used. 


Other Things to Note. 
"My Apline Shack" is conveniently located close to town  but a little off the beaten path to enjoy a quiet, serene getaway. The cabin is located on a steep, narrow road. Although steep, we haven't had any issues with vehicles making it up. 
The stroll into town  is downhill and a fairly easy walk. Coming back is uphill so keep that in mind when deciding to walk back to the cabin. 
There are 4 other cabins in the area so please be respectful between the hours of 11pm-8am. 
No pets are allowed on the premises. 
There is a camera which is turned on and faces the parking lot. This is the only camera on the premises and is only there for security purposes.

Great stay in a fun town

We wanted to check out the German town of Helen GA and this property was perfect, less than a mile to town for easy back and forth access, excellent recommendations from the host and the hot tub was a must after our waterfall hikes each day, highly recommend this spot

Perfect girls' getaway!!

We were thrilled from the moment we pulled up and saw My Alpine Shack, to the moment we had to drive away!! The cabin is in a perfectly secluded location, yet so close to town. Its decor and style and furnishings are pleasantly pleasing in every way, and our host was always just a text or call away to recommend awesome food and sights as well as address any questions. Wedding Anniversary Getaway

The Alpine Shack was a wonderful spot for my wife and I to celebrate our 23rd Wedding Anniversary. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay; the cabin was absolutely perfect in every way. From the beautiful furnishings, decorations, spacious shower to the hot tub and coffee bar this cabin did not disappoint. We would definitely stay at this property again should we visit the area. Our hat is off to the hosts….nothing short of amazing!

Anniversary Weekend Getaway

We had the most wonderful time and your Alpine Shack was simply perfect!!! The road and parking were a little intimidating at first but we quickly adapted. I love the warm, chic cabin decor. The cozy comfy bed and linens and the coffee bar! It’s perfectly located for a quiet getaway but still right there in historic Helen. We absolutely enjoyed our stay and will be checking out your other locations too ♥️

Smaller than expected

Pictures can be deceiving, view of hot tub doesn’t really show the cabin next door. Master bedroom VERY small. One side of Bed you have to walk side ways to get between it and wall. Other things you might not notice are no dishwasher no dining table very limited amount of counter top smaller stove and fridge. Read details and view pictures closely.
