Easy access to Formula 1 Circuit of the Americas. My place is great for couples, solo adventurers, or business travelers who want to mix business with exciting downtown Austin. Wonderful Host. Great Location

Steve is a fabulous host! The house was clean and well stocked with lots of extras. The location is super close to everything Austin, yet in a charming, walkable neighborhood. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here!

Great house!

My friends and I had a great vacation in Austin and were very comfortable in this house! Its close to downtown, cozy, and the backyard is fantastic to relax in. I highly recommend renting this house.

Very comfortable

Nicely situated for travel in Austin. Short drive to Congress Street and the downtown. Our hosts thoughtfulness exceeded our expectations and was by far the best VRBO home we've stayed in. Everything from fresh fruit and bagels for breakfast to extra tooth brushes just in case made this an outstanding stay.

State track meet

State track meet

Each year in May myself, along with other retired coaching friends from all over the state, meet in Austin to work as officials at the state track meet. This was our first time in this home. It was absolutely perfect for our get together. After three long track days the backyard was very inviting. Owner was extremely easy to contact and correspond with. Planning on this house being our “home away from home” for the future.

The best rental ever

This property was above and beyond our expectations. Steve was very communicative which is always appreciated. The place was super cute, clean, and homely. Great neighborhood. The biggest bonus was that the fridge and pantry were stocked with basics+. We have never stayed in a rental and had a fridge full of food! These details made our stay so much better. Austin 2020

All with the property was fine and Steve was very accommodating. Austin itself can be tough to get around as there seems to be heavy traffic everywhere. Going to 6th St can be a little unnerving due to the high number of homeless folks and panhandlers. Austin has a lot to offer, but come prepared.

Great Location/Great House

We had originally reserved this property for our son's May wedding....Steve was great about cancelling....then when my son & his wife decided to do a drive by wedding in September...contacted Steve again....he remembered me and was great about the booking. The house was the perfect location....it was close to both our kids and their families as well as the wedding venue. Steve had snacks/coffee/drinks and a detailed list of how to work everything! I will definitely be renting this place again!

The property was perfect for our family!

This property was perfect for our family while we stayed in Austin for a birthday celebration and the UT/WV game. I needed a home rather than a hotel room so that I could watch my grandson while the rest of my family went to the game. The neighborhood was very pretty and felt very safe. I enjoyed taking my grandson for walks during the day. The home was very clean and had everything we needed. The living room is very accommodating for severaly guests to sit and visit or watch TV. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was great. The house also has a covered back porch and nice backyard. We enjoyed sitting out and visiting while the weather was nice. I can't say enough about this property......we will definitely stay there again. It really met our needs and was priced very well. Although I did not get to meet Steve personally because of logistics, he was very reachable and I felt very welcomed. Thanks for a great weekend, Steve!

I've lived in Austin since 1991 and although growing rapidly still enjoy everything Austin has to offer. If you like spending time outdoors this is the place you want to be. On the weekends and occasionally during the week you can find me tearing up the hike and bike trail which is a 10 mile loop around Ladybird Lake right in the heart of downtown. Besides the nightlife with many great restaurants and bars, the hike and bike trail is one of the best things about Austin.

Why they chose this property

HQ Austin is located in a nice established neighborhood in south Austin. Very quiet with many long-term residents. Very easy to get around and in close proximity to downtown and many hot spots. My home is very comfortable and easy to relax in during that down time.
