About this property

Quiet mountain getaway on White Pass

Come relax at the Rainbow Rock Hideout!

Located in Rimrock Retreat on White Pass, The Hideout is nestled on a quiet hillside in the Tieton River Canyon surrounded by forest and breathtaking views. You are only 30 minutes from White Pass Ski Resort, 47 minutes to Mt. Rainier National Park, 11 minutes to Rimrock Lake and the Tieton River is just across the highway. Mt biking, hiking, rock climbing and river access can all be found within a 10 min drive.

-ACCESS and PARKING: Parking is limited to one vehicle. Exceptions may be made upon request. Extra vehicles that haven't been approved will either result in an additional $50 charge per night or we will cancel your reservation with no refund, solely at our discretion.
During the winter you will need a vehicle with 4WD/AWD and snow tires. We do our best to keep up with snowfall but plowing has to fit around the work schedule at White Pass Ski Area. Be prepared for the driveway to have up to a foot of snow on it if there is a large storm.

-NO PARTIES OR GATHERINGS: We live in a quiet area with neighbors close by. Only guests who have booked via AirBnB are allowed on the property. Having unapproved guests will result in immediate termination of your stay with no refund.

-QUIET HOURS: Quiet hours are from 9pm-8am. This is a zero tolerance item out of respect for our neighbors.

-CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT: Check-in time is from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and Check-out time is 11:00 AM, unless otherwise stated or agreed upon. Upon leaving please be sure to lock all doors and windows. If the cabin is left unlocked in any way, you will be charged an additional $25.00.
Before leaving, please clean up after yourself, place all trash in trash cans outside, wash and put away all dishes, place used towels in the bathroom bin, leave slept-in beds unmade, make sure all fires are out and turn off all lights. Not completing these steps will result in you being charged a minimum of an additional $50.

-LATE/EARLY CHECK-IN OR CHECK-OUT: You will be charged an additional $50.00 if you do not adhere to the stated times. If you are interested in an early check-in time or a later check-out out time, please message us to see if that can be accommodated.

-DAMAGE/MISSING ITEMS: Although we charge a $250 security deposit, we will impose additional charges for damage to the property or missing items to cover any costs incurred.

-NO PETS: If pets are on the property you will either be charged an additional $50 per pet/per night or we will cancel your reservation with no refund, solely at our discretion.

-NON-SMOKING/NON-VAPING: The Hideout is a non-smoking/non-vaping property, inside and out.

-DOORS: Keep screen doors closed when the front door or sliders are open. There are a lot of cute critters in the area that aren't so cute if they get inside.

-KIDS: You know your kids and what you consider safe for them better than we do. Generally speaking though, The Hideout is suitable for children who don't need constant supervision and can sleep in a regular bed without side rails. If you are bringing children, please consider that the cabin sits on a hillside with NO fences on the property. The interior has baseboard heat and a wood fireplace.

-WINTER MONTHS: During the winter you will need a vehicle with 4WD/AWD and snow tires. We do our best to keep up with snowfall but plowing has to fit around the work schedule at White Pass Ski Area. Be prepared for the driveway to have up to a foot of snow on it if there is a large storm. Power outages do occur occasionally. The is no backup generator but we do provide emergency lights and the wood stove will keep the cabin toasty warm.

-We reserve the right to cancel reservations immediately, with no refund, if any House Rules are broken.

Cute, well-appointed & super clean
Will be perfect once Internet is functional. Since we couldn't use our cell phones, that part wasn't convenient. But everything else was great!

We live right next door to The Hideout so you'll probably see us walking by with our kids and dogs....and usually one of the cats. Don't be surprised if he stops by to say hi!

Why they chose this property

We love our place so much that we decided to acquire the place next door to share with others! Sitting on the deck and taking in the view is so relaxing and there's lots of outdoor pursuits to be had in the surrounding mountains.

What makes this property unique

The neighborhood is quiet and relaxing. Mt biking, rock climbing and and whitewater are all accessible within a 10 min drive. Did we mention the deck? It's our favorite spot on the property!
