Cabin was so comfortable, cheery, and all needs had been anticipated. Loved the quietness being settled in the midst of trees.Walk to the cove was very doable to watch the beautiful sunsets over the lake. Host was very quick to respond to my questions. Would stay again!

Overall was a nice place. The pictures are deceiving. There is no direct access to the lake. Where it was a “public access” that the owner stated which was about half a mile away, it all had locked gates on the dock and could not use.

We do cleary state in the listing that we do not have direct access and always follow up with a message after booking to ensure guests are aware. There is public access to the water/lake a 1/2 a mile down the road, but all docks are private. Thank you for staying!

Relaxing Weekend

The home was very inviting and so cozy. There was everything we needed and a perfect environment to read, relax and enjoy the sunsets. The walk to the water was also nice and not too far. Overall a wonderful trip.

Perfect retreat away

The house was a perfect retreat away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. It was a bit far from the closest town, but if you want to be secluded and away this is the place for you. Great hosts and beautiful home!

Nice Place in secluded area

Nice place to stay, clean and designed well and very clean. Wish it had direct water access and was told she was of time I’d have to get there on a gravel road.

The listing does clearly state that the water access is down the road (not direct) and the home is rural/secluded; however, it did not specifically state that the road is gravel between the house and the water access. Best Labor Day Trip

We had a marvelous time and the place was very cozy and comfortable for our family. It was very clean as well and the kitchen had everything we needed to help us cook the food we brought and enjoy our stay! Thanks to our host as well for all her help and communication. Definitely one of our favorite trips ever. We loved everything about this place and the location.

Peace and Quiet

We wanted a getaway that was peaceful and quiet and we couldn’t have asked for a better place. The owners thought of everything from spices to coffee to pots and pans to soap to cozy blankets. We will definitely be back!

Lovely retreat!

A few friends used the house for a “reading retreat” where we read, napped, cooked, and ate together for a few days, and it was wonderful! One of the most well-stocked and homey house rentals I’ve ever experienced. Hosts were very reliable and communicative.
