Staying in Casa Noir was a dream come true for our family. It was so wonderful to be in Victoria Beach, which is a place we used to go when I was a kid, but in a cottage that was so modern and beautiful. Location was incredible.
Perfect for our three generations of grandma, adult children(2) and granddaughter. A real holiday and near our family cabin for relaxed visits with them Thank you so much for sharing your lovely home.
Everything was great overall - We were really happy with the service and the space. The only minor issue was that there wasn't a TV in the living room, which was a little inconvenience.
Had a beautiful time, were very impressed by the cottage and the location. Would definitely return. We were a group of women who are in a Bookclub together staying for a quiet weekend of walks and conversation. It was perfect.
Beautiful house
Comfortable beds
Spacious and clean
An information sheet on garbage, recycling and washer instructions would have helped but we figured it out.
Found a treasure trove of children's games and puzzles that were appreciated
This cabin completely exceeded my expectations. The pictures do not do it justice- it's much bigger and even more beautiful in real life. The home's design is just perfect- it was such a treat to stay in such a pretty place.
Loved the big deck and outdoor shower and being surrounded by the tall trees. A mama deer and her babies wandered through the yard one morning.
I recommend bringing bikes if you can- otherwise you do end up doing a lot of walking, which we didn't mind.
The beach at the end of the road is about a ten minute walk and might just be the prettiest beach in the area. Perfect white sand and really secluded- we felt like we had the place to ourselves!
Our stay at Victoria Beach in the middle of August was amazing. The area was central. Close to the bakery the beach, the parking lot, the golf course. We loved the wraparound deck and spent much time there barbecuing and playing board games. The kitchen was gorgeous and well stocked with everything we needed. The bonuses were: the air conditioner, extra fridge, washer and dryer, and outdoor shower. The evenings got a little chilly, so we even put on the fireplace which was beautiful in the main room with the gorgeous chandelier.
The property manager was attentive as he answered every question within minutes, and even brought us down some extra propane when needed.
We have already booked for the same time next year!
Our family were very impressed with this cabin in the heart of VB . Pictures really didn’t do it justice. From its large welcoming foyer and extensive covered deck, to the spacious well equipped kitchen and pantry/utility room with a second fridge and washer/dryer, large open plan living room/ dining area with vaulted ceiling and huge windows , and good sized bedrooms (particularly the master with its king sized bed and large cupboard space) and 2 full bathrooms with showers - it truly exceeded our expectations. The outdoor shower was an added bonus and useful for rinsing off the sand after the beach as well. Our family loved exploring and made many trips to the various beaches and each were gorgeous, and sunsets amazing. The property manager was very prompt to answer any questions and help out if needed.
Additional comfortable seating in the living room and more patio chairs would have been helpful as would a dresser in one bedroom that was without. Also some bicycles would be a wonderful addition to complete the whole VB experience.
We’re already looking forward to next time.
We had a great extended long weekend at Casa Noir, and could have stayed all summer! Pictures really didn't do it justice. It was spacious throughout, living room, dining room, lots of storage for extra groceries, and bedrooms were all a good size. A good size front entrance for all our coats, hats etc. Master was really spacious. Weather was cool and rainy, and we had lots of room to play games, cook, and relax. Whole cabin, including kitchen was very well stocked with all the utensils, cookware etc we needed. Really enjoyed having the pantry to store extra goodies. If were staying for longer or bigger crowd would have used the second fridge (we didn't need to). Also used the outdoor shower. It was cedar so smelled like a spa when water turned on, was lovely. Was short walk to beach access at Alexandra Stairs, and we were at beach couple times a day. The fixtures, decorating etc were well done, making us feel like we were somewhere special and relaxed beach vibes. Only thing I would say is bring your bikes for the full Victoria Beach experience! Really enjoyed our stay.
