The house smelled very strongly of cleaner and not in a good way. We had to buy air fresheners to make it more tolerable. The neighborhood is in a good location but the houses are not well kept. The master shower was not cleaned well and there were clumps of hair/debris in the corners of the shower. After we checked out, the owner made a false claim against us saying we drank his wine and damaged his kitchen table. I rent fairly often from rental websites and have never had a claim made against me as we respect people’s homes when we are on vacation. We also don’t drink wine.

Perfect for our holiday stay

My family had a wonderful time at this property. It was close to campus and there were plenty of things for us to do at the house. During our stay we enjoyed playing the games that are provided at the house, having nightly fires and enjoying the outdoor living space, and the kitchen was perfect for us to do some holiday baking. We will definitely book this property again on our next visit to Stillwater. The host was easy to get ahold of and very helpful.

Professional sailing instructor who enjoys traveling, eating things that have been cooked outside. Worked many year in festival and event management on the West coast. Grew up in Southern California then moved to Oregon for college and never really left.

Why they chose this property

Sitting in a quiet neighborhood with 1970's ranch houses. The back half of the quarter acre is fenced in backyard with a fire pit. Covered back porch with high top table made from the crate the was used to ship the first barber chair to University Barber's back in the late Forties. Read the story on the bottom from the gentleman who made it. Plenty of Wi-Fi with 1GB of bandwidth, fast upload/download speeds and plenty of places to plug in. Hardwood floors make for a nice warm feeling and easy to clean. Vaulted ceilings in the living room. Air ducts have been cleaned and sanitized recently. The bathrooms have been completely remodeled for your enjoyment. The kitchen has been updated with new appliances and deep sink with a commercial grade sprayer/faucet combo. Come relax and enjoy the whole place to yourselves.
