About Beth Olmstead
I am a nurse in Prescott and work part time at the local hospital, YRMC. I have one dog and have lived in Prescott since 1974 when I graduated from high school. I'd spent summers up here as a kid in Groom Creek at our family cabin since I was about 11 years old and attended the Camp Maripai girl scout camp in Groom Creek
Beth Olmstead purchased this Bungalow in 2004
Why Beth Olmstead chose Prescott
I purchased this property as a single older residence that was built in 1924. It was a large city lot and the small house was a diamond in the rough. After fixing the house up a bit and adding landscaping, I turned to the challenge of fully realizing the potential of the property, as it was zoned to allow me to build a few additional rental units. My first project was to build the garage with the upstairs living quarters, now known as The Bird Nest Hideaway, so named due to the elevated proximity with surrounding Elm, Cottonwood and Box elder trees outside the many windows in the apartment.
What makes this Bungalow unique
I personally love living in the heart of historical downtown Prescott and never tire of my leisurely strolls to the courthouse area, either to met friends or by myself, for early AM coffee, or to listen to one of the many summer concerts on 'the square' or at a local music hotspot. I've traveled a bit in my time and have never found a place I'd rather live. Great year round relaxing and good clean fun.
