About this property

Glamping Bell tent with amazing mountain views!

*Please note you need a four-wheel drive vehicle to access the site!

Get away from it all when you stay under the stars. Enjoy beautiful unobstructed views of the mountains from your very own private bell tent on a rugged mountain side. Everything you’ll need for an outdoor experience is provided at the site including grilling, showering, restroom and a pillow top queen bed (and wood-burning stove when there is not a fire ban). Come visit the great Northwest mountains and experience the beauty of nature while experiencing the rustic wild.

*Between June and September there is a fire ban in the area, no open flame fire are allowed on the property!

*Please note that there isn't very good signal on the property, however just 15 minutes in town offers good cell signal. A great opportunity to disconnect and relax :) Please plan your trip accordingly before you leave in case you lose signal along the way. The GPS coordinates on apple and google maps are slightly off so you may need to drive up to 50 feet further to the entrance. You'll see a Sleepy Sasquatch sign at the mailbox, turn left at the mailbox, and follow the additional signs after the cow gate to the site.

*We recommend bringing a cooler, water, and anything else you need to be extra comfortable for your stay. We do ask you to please take your trash with you when you leave due to wildlife (such as bears) in the area.

We look forward to hosting you!

Worst Host Ever
Booked this site as part of a trip around the State. 1. No directions to the site. The host sent me a message saying the actual listing has perfect directions. Nope. 2. Once I found the correct trail and got to the tent I didn’t have the combo to unlock the key. I was able to climb the rocks to get a signal & reach the host. 3. The wood stove. Zero directions in the site book. When I called about the lack of access the host did mention there were no instructions and that he would be home soon & could stop by. I stated I’d started a fire before & should be fine. That was mistake #2, #1 being booking this site. No matter how I tried, I couldn’t open the damper. Back up the rocks for more instructions. Still didn’t work. By now it was dark & I wasn’t scaling rocks in the dark. The next morning I get up to make coffee. Grill craps out. But the water is lukewarm so, I make a cup, pour it in one of the cups provided & it smells & tastes like soap. It took the host almost 7 hrs to respond to message about propane. Things the listing mentions: Whirlpool spa. No. Things it doesn’t: No drinking water & you need to take your trash with you. I love an outdoor shower & I was going to use it before I left a day early, but then my Better Judgment spoke up & reminded me 2 out of 3 items provided didn’t work, did I want to try my luck? Before you book w/hosts who admit to not having reliable service you’ll have to consult your Better Judgement. I wouldn’t recommend it.

Great place to get away
This is the perfect place to camp. It was very clean. Aside coolers, ice, food and beverages, everything we needed was provided. A really cool place to star gaze. We brought our telescope and was able to see Saturn. It was very family friendly, as well as dog friendly. Highly recommend.
