Beautiful house
Amazing indoor area, extremely beautiful rooms. A/C working very well, nice pool that is cooled. A lot of homeless people in the area, but never felt unsafe.

Great House for a Group; But Check the Neighborhood!
Eight different adult couples stayed here over a 10-day period during JazzFest 2023. Overall the house worked well for all of our guests. Marcia was an amazing host and very responsive to our needs. Many positives - big bedrooms with private baths; large common area for people to eat and lounge; central location within NOLA. The owners are in the midst of a multi-house renovation in the neighborhood so I expect that some other improvements will be made - for example, there was not enough seating around the pool for 5 couples (2 daybeds don't work), so it wasn't a great place to congregate. However, they are supposed to replace the outdoor furniture for several properties in the coming months. In addition, the kitchen is not set up for that many people - missing basic things like potholders and baking dishes, and only enough settings for one meal. But overall a good place for that many people - it is hard to find this in NOLA. The photos are accurate. One caution, however - check the status of the neighborhood. It is undergoing a major reconstruction and there was a lot of noise and construction traffic on weekdays. Finally, there was one big negative for our group - within a block of the house is a indoor/outdoor bar called the Rabbit Hole that is open Th-Fr-Sat nights. Friday and Saturday they have live music until 4 am. So loud music and loud passersby late at night. This was an issue for our guests as the noise kept most of us awake through the night.
