About this property

Derby Time! Highlands Home with View of Downtown Walkable.

This condo is in the heart of the popular Highlands neighborhood. Steps away from restaurants, bars, and shops on Baxter Ave and Bardstown Road. We offer two off street parking spaces. One is contained in a gated area and the other is an off street space along the side of the building. This condo is three stories with two private patios overlooking Baxter Ave! Just minutes away from downtown Louisville and Churchill Downs - Home of the Kentucky Derby. Centrally located.

You enter the condo on the second floor from a private terrace. The second floor contains 1 bedroom with a queen size bed, the living room, and kitchen. If you go down one flight of stairs to the first floor you will find a large bedroom with two queen beds and attached walk in closet and full bathroom. Down the hall is a half bath. On the third floor you will find a bedroom with a king bed and private bathroom. The laundry room with a washer and dryer is also on the third floor along with a second terrace that provides great views. Enjoy the ping pong table or people watching.

Please note that this property overlooks popular Baxter Ave. This is a big draw for most staying with us as it is within walking distance of many bars and restaurants. However due to this there is also the potential for noise. We do provide sound machines to help drown this out.

It’s was a nice spacious place and great location with a lot of nice shops in the area. The double balcony was a big plus it was really cool. Definitely would stay here again and highly recommend if your ever coming to the Louisville area.

The property was 3 story, 3 bedroom (1king, 1 queen, 2 double), 2 1/2 bath. The property was extremely nice with efficient parking. As stated in the description of the property it is a bit noisy from the on street traffic and local bars. It pretty much doesn't go completely quiet until about 2:30 a.m. (Friday and Saturday was our stay). But there were earplugs provided if need and a small noise machine. I had to get ahold of the property owner to double check on the parking situation and she replied within minutes. If I was in the area again or if the property owner had other properties I would rent from them again.

We had a great stay. The condo was fabulous and in a terrific location. There were lots of restaurants, bars, shops, and coffee shops within walking distance. We were there the weekend before Thanksgiving visiting Family. I grew up nearby this location, so of course, I felt right at home.! it is loud at night with the fun bars nearby, but there are earplugs and sound machines readily available if needed!

Had to find a place to stay with family to celebrate another family member who had recently moved to Louisville. The location was fun and vibrant, close to many of the places we needed and wanted to go downtown and it was a great place to gather for a bit with others who were in town for the week. We were there for a 50th bday and was blown away by the amenities and location . The clubs , bars and restaurants that were great to visit just across the street and both ways . The space and amenities of the place itself were great and we will definitely book this again in the future .

Such a cute condo in a fun and vibrant neighborhood. There is a lot of noise from the road and bars at night, just as described in the listing. The host provided ear plugs, fans, and sound machines. Would stay here again!

Great property, very clean with ample amenities including off street parking and easy access to interstate. Our host was wonderful. The bittersweet experience is that there are multiple restaurants nearby which is a blessing and a curse. Great dining and cocktails within walking distance but unfortunately it was quite loud after 10 PM, mostly from loud muscle cars. Overall, still a great property and we would definitely stay here again.

A great stay in a great area with good access to all Louisville has to offer. Good response from our host with all questions and accommodations. Late night street noise is our only caution. Clean and Comfortable with lots of positives. Would stay here again!

Stay on Baxter

Location was great and convenient to plenty of food options and bars. Can be a bit loud lat on the weekends due to the bar across the street and motorcycles on Baxter, but war plugs were provided and did the trick. Only other issues noticed was the oven didn’t work and one of the burners on the stove wouldn’t light, but these were not an issue for us as we just cooked on one burner. The unit is very spacious and feels like home.

Great space in a great location

We enjoyed being in such close proximity to all the happenings on Baxter Ave, and had more than enough space for three of us. The noise of the evening revelry and the walk up to the unit and up and down to bedrooms and bathrooms within the unit were accurately described in the listing. All in all we had a good stay in a super cool part of Louisville!

Nice location, great host.

This property is exactly what is looks like on VRBO. We had a group of 8 and the place slept our group just fine for the occasion. The area is loud late at night but comes with the convenience of the property. After our stay, someone left an expensive personal belonging and the host made sure to get it shipped back to us right away. Would stay here again.
