Property good, communication very poor.

The location and the property is very good. It has a great kitchen and living area. One complaint we do have is that the shower temperature was not hot enough. We booked this property even though there were no reviews. The reason for the low rating is the difficulty is getting back the damage deposit. Had we agreed to getting it by the host's preferred payment method of Zelle there may have been no problem. However we didn't want that, we wanted a check. It was19 days before we received the check in the mail. The host was dreadful at communicating the process for getting a check. He responded promptly to all messages, but gave confusing, very confusing responses. It was a frustrating and timewasting process to get the refund.
