The home is unique being that it is the closest log cabin to the ocean in the U.S. There is no other house like it on Topsail Island! It offers a truly back-to-nature retreat experience right by the seaside. Loggerhead sea turtles routinely nest on the grounds. Many have delighted as the hatchlings scamper to the ocean. Dolphins and large schools of fish abound in the seas, and are often visible from the home's decks and windows.

This home has recently undergone an extreme makeover, with significant upgrades throughout ready for your pleasure, including new furniture in most of the rooms and hardwood floors throughout. The kitchen has granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and cupboards stocked with kitchenware. The living area has a large, smart flat-screen TV and is oriented to create great family conversations. Each of the three large bedrooms have new bedding and flat-screen TVs. The sizable wraparound decks of this beautiful home give plenty of room to enjoy views of both the ocean and the marsh. If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the nightly pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting "Yes" to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The nightly fee ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 6 vehicles.
