*PERFECT LOCATION* Built in 1899 and newly renovated, The Mocking Bird Inn- Magnolia Suite is nestled on a LIVE OAK lined historic street. The home will surround you with a modern coastal warmth. FORT BAYOU is located next to the property so, take a stroll next door to MARBLE SPRINGS PARK for a view of the bayou and learn the history of the NATURAL SPRINGS that gave Ocean Springs its name. Just 1 block to DOWNTOWN OS GALLERIES, SHOPPING & RESTAURANTS , 1 mile to the BEACH, 2 miles to CASINO's
The space
Step into the light and bright Magnolia Suite and you'll feel that instant relaxed feeling. The room has a huge and comfy sectional sofa that will make you want to curl up and read a book or watch your favorite Netflix shows on the 50" Smart TV. The space is newly renovated and features a King size bed with fresh soft linens and fluffy pillows. There is a table that can be used for dining or as a desk for working remotely. High Speed internet will keep you online if you must work while visiting. The spa-like bathroom is completely new with an oversized glass and tile shower, pedestal sink and oversized towels. Shower products and a blow dryer are provided. The floor to ceiling windows provide a view a lush wooded area at the back of the home where the Suite is located. A ramp to the private deck equipped with seating and a gas bbq grill is a bonus. We provide coffee pods, creamer, sugar, tea bags, coffee cups, wine glasses, wine & bottle opener, disposable dishes and cutlery, ice, beach towels, noise machine for sleeping & a clothing steamer.
We welcome well behaved dogs that are under 40 pounds. We charge a $75 per stay fee.

Other things to note
The Mockingbird Inn has 3 additional Suites that are available on Airbnb as well. Its a perfect for a group to rent all of the suites when coming to the area for a special events such as weddings, class reunions, golf trip, girls weekends, family reunions, couples retreat, etc. Special rates may be available in these instances.

Why Ocean Springs you may ask?
Troy was born in Biloxi and has family ties to the area. His family moved to Central Il when he was a child. Over the years Troy & Kim loved visiting Biloxi and Ocean Springs soaking up the sun, culture, hospitality, and of course the food. Falling for Ocean Springs more each time they would stay.

Why they chose this property
Once our children were raised and out of college, we decided it was time for our next big adventure. When Kim first walked into the house at 1101 Iberville Drive she knew this was it! She had a vision to create what is now The Mockingbird Inn.
After 9 months of renovations to transform it into an Inn, we opened our doors in April of 2022. Our very first guest was from Dublin, Ireland and since then we have hosted people from all over the country and other countries as well.
We are so grateful and humbled by the warm welcome from our guests near and far and the Ocean Springs community. We love our new home and our goal is to make every guest feel like they are home when they arrive at The Mockingbird Inn.
