The Gulf Place community is located along a 26-mile stretch of sugar-white sand and turquoise waters of Northwest Florida’s celebrated Emerald Coast. This colorful community on 30A is comprised of 25 acres located in the heart of Santa Rosa Beach on the corner of 30A and 393. Gulf Place was specifically designed to slow visitors and locals down with palm tree-lined streets, wide sidewalks, colorful outdoor patios with large umbrellas, nature walking trails, green spaces and ample park benches to sit and enjoy the views.  Gulf Place is unique from all the other South Walton neighborhoods.  Residents and guests gather here to enjoy original art, boutique shopping, local cuisine, live music and a laid back atmosphere.

The snorkelers in your group will love the new artificial reef called Seahorse Reef, deployed in 2017. Located just 715 feet out from the Topsail Hill Preserve State Park access, it is becoming a haven for sea life. Each of the 4 snorkeling reefs comprises 40 acres of permitted sea bottom. The Seahorse Reef is at a depth of 13-18 feet. We strongly recommend that snorkelers use a kayak, paddleboard, or other flotation device when visiting the snorkel reefs. Sea conditions can and do change quickly and often. Enjoy!

30A family vacation

Can’t say enough good things about this place. The private pool was a big hit with the kids, very spacious, everyone had their own bath/shower. Great location. Could go anywhere we needed to go on the golf cart. Would definitely stay here again.

Florida vacation

Very nice property. Definitely would stay there again! Plenty of rooms and bathrooms. Kitchen very nice. Grill outside was handy for grilling dinner.

Beach house

Stayed here for a beach getaway! The location of the house was great, about 1/2 mile from the public beach and shops/restaurants. House came with a golf cart which made it easy to get around. We wish the house would have came with some beach chairs or toys for the kids as we had to bring our own. There was not even any pool towels in the house even though there was a private pool. The house had plenty of bathrooms and space for our two families. House was not stocked very well for our stay. Zero laundry supplies (even though there was a washer and dryer), 2 dishwasher tablets and a total of 5 garbage bags did not seem like much considering we were there for almost a week. We had to buy or bring our own. Also there was no salt or pepper in the shakers which was odd. We’ve stayed in plenty of rentals that had these basic items. Two of our children were still in cribs at home and there was not a travel crib in the house (even though it was listed in the accommodations) so be aware to bring your own if traveling with small children! The house itself was not super clean. The floors definitely needed a good mopping.. our feet were extremely dirty even on the first day. One of the wood cutting boards had mold on it and there was no cleaning supplies to be able to wipe down the counters! We still had an enjoyable stay but probably would not go back to this particular house.

Great accommodations

All together we had a great experience. It was a great home, clean and the location was good too. The pool was a bit smaller than we thought it would be from pictures and we did have some issues with the heater. However, when we reached out the responses were quick.
