New build, private, 2-bedroom cabin tucked into the woods

The Captain's Cabin is a newly constructed, cozy hideaway perfect for the fisherman or Alaska traveler. This peaceful, stand-alone unit is tucked in the woods for your own private piece of paradise. Our Ketchikan Cabins are uniquely situated among the trees on the outskirts of the Tongass National Forest. Our cabins feel remote without being remote at just 5 miles from downtown.

Ketchikan Cabins Captain's Cabin is a cozy 2-bed, 1 bath cabin tucked away in the woods. The bedrooms are each equipped with 2 XL twin beds, and the bathroom has a large, step-in shower. The kitchen is stocked with the essential pots/pans/dishes/etc., and the unit has a dishwasher and washer/dryer. And, of course, we haven't forgotten the WiFi and the smart TV. The porch is large and lovely to sip coffee, grill dinner, or enjoy relaxing on a nice evening.

Cell Coverage Note: Verizon and carriers that work off Verizon towers get excellent 4G coverage. AT&T has limited coverage at the cabin, though WiFi calling would be available.

Private and quaint cabin

We loved captains cabin. Very clean and updated. Jos and Kate were great hosts, easy to communicate with and friendly. The beds were comfortable and the cabin is small but well stocked and laid out. Awesome fire pit and great bbq. We’ll be back.

Quite cabin in the woods

The cabin is nested in the woods, and it was a truly remarkable experience. I can confidently give it a 5-star review. The serene ambiance of the forest provided the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Kate and Jos were exceptional, ensuring our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Their attention to detail and warm hospitality made us feel right at home. If you're seeking peace and tranquility in a beautiful natural setting, this cabin is the ideal choice. I can't recommend it enough for a rejuvenating getaway. Will definitely book again if I come to Ketchikan again (which I will!)

Perfect trip

Needed a few nights in Ketchikan and this was perfect. Everything we needed to make the stay enjoyable. Host was easy to get in contact with and answered any questions promptly. Check in and out was a breeze. Would definitely recommend staying here to anyone!
