My family had an amazing experience at the Nelson house. It was very clean. Marie was extremely helpful and gave recommendations of restaurants near by. It is also a quick 15 minute drive to All Star Village. It was great for a team party. Hoping to stay here again when my youngest goes to Cooperstown.

Perfect for the siblings!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Nelson House! It was especially perfect for the younger siblings to have a place to hang out and play between games. It was also great to have downtime at a comfortable house and not have to eat out for all of the meals. Craig and Marie were amazing hosts. Their communication and recommendations were welcomed, and they were happy to help with anything we needed. They were also open to us hosting a team party, which was an awesome way to end our memorable week! Their hospitality made our stay even better. We would absolutely recommend staying at this house during your time at All Star Village!

Fantastic house and hosts!

The Nelson House was a perfect place to stay for our group. The location provides an easy drive to All Star Village, with restaurants and grocery stores along the route, which was very convenient given the crazy schedule. The hosts were so wonderful and responsive. Our week included some wild weather with rain and temperatures in the 40s, and the hosts came right away to get the fireplace up and running. The pool was perfect for having a few teammates over for some fun after the games. Highly recommended, and we would absolutely stay here again!

Great experience!

Our family stayed at the Nelson House for my son’s Cooperstown Dreams Park tournament. It was a fantastic experience staying there. Marie is super friendly and was always available for any questions we had. The house was unbeleiveably clean and the sunporch, fire pit and pool areas were also superb. Any family looking for a great place to stay when they are in the area….this is it.

Marie was awesome and kept in contact for anything we needed throughout the week. We will definitely stay again when our youngest son comes to Cooperstown!! ⚾️

Beautiful well maintained home

I highly recommend Nelson house. The house is well-maintained and the owners are amazing with answering any questions you may have. There is plenty to do at the house with the pool, ping pong table and basketball court. My children stayed very entertained. Lots of stores close by for whatever you may need.

Perfect cozy & fun house near ASV

The perfect home close to All-Star Village! It slept all 5 of us perfectly. My husband and I slept in the king bed. My two boys shared one of the queen beds, and my mom slept in the other queen bed. Our hosts Marie & Craig were great and so welcoming. The house had anything that you could need and more. The basketball hoop, the pool, and the ping-pong table entertained my boys the whole time. We loved the home so much, I highly recommend this place for sure 💗

Perfect Place for Cooperstown Families

Great place for 2 families to stay during Cooperstown baseball week! It was less than 15 mins from ASV and easy to get to/from. Tons of space for everyone and pretty much everything was included you would need to be comfortable. We took advantage of the pool, fire pit, beautifully landscaped back yard and we even hosted our team for dinner and a swim and they loved the basketball court!! The host was very nice, helpful and responsive to our questions. I would highly recommend staying at Nelson House!!

So much to do at the Nelson House

We loved our stay. Marie the host was wonderful. The house had lots of towels, bedding, pillows, and kitchen staples. Marie has thought of it all. The boys weren’t with us too much because they were staying in the bunks but they loved the basketball court, pool, and ping pong table when they had some time off. We loved sitting outside each night with the fire pit. The backyard was our favorite part of the Nelson House.

Perfect Stay for an amazing week

My son’s team played at All Star Village in July and this was the perfect house for our family. We had four adults, two teens and a 7 year old. It felt nice not to be stuck in a hotel for the week. The house was clean and stocked with everything we needed. We cooked breakfast, came home between games to swim and have lunch, and ate dinner at home when the schedule allowed. We were also able to host the team and families for a party, we catered Brooks BBQ and the boys came over for a couple hours to swim, play basketball and wiffleball in the spacious yard. Marie and Craig were super accommodating when planning this, they allowed teammates parents to park in their driveway. It was also a perk to have laundry at the house. My son is very picky about his uniforms and hates them in the dryer. So he was able to give them to me on a rotating basis and I washed them at the house hung them to dry and would give back to him. It worked really well. When we were there the washer was not working well and Marie had it replaced within a few hours. She was an exceptional host. We even locked ourselves out (forgot how to work the front door) and she came over with keys to let us in. The drive to allstar village was about 15 minutes, and about 7 minutes to the hotels where the other families stayed. I did not envy them for having to eat out or order take out to the hotel for the week. If you are going to All Star village and want to stay in a house, I 100 percent recommend this very clean, and affordable option with a pool, especially if traveling with grandparents and siblings.

Your home away from home

We stayed here for our grandson’s tournament at the Allstars field. Great location. The home was absolutely everything we could have asked for. When they tell you they have everything they mean it. All you need to bring is your personal items and yourself. Marie and her husband Craig (the owners) are the nicest people you will meet and wonderful host. They were right there if you needed anything. The house had so much room for our family of 7. Their yard with the pool and basketball court was amazing. The kids had a blast. Their yard is so well manicured with gorgeous flower beds. Sitting out in the sunroom looking out at the pool and flower gardens was beautiful in the morning drinking your coffee. I just can’t say enough about how great of a place they have. We will be back. You will love it. Thank you Marie and Craig.

Great house and property, well taken care of, very inviting.

We had such a great time at the Nelson house. Stayed here while our kids played at All Star Village (Week 7 Champions! So we say Nelson house was a good luck charm!) We came back to the house as often as we good. Siblings (and the adults) loved the pool, ping pong table and basketball court. The house was so well kept, and clean. They had everything we could need and plenty of space for everyone. Hosts were friendly and helpful, but also gave us plenty of privacy. Most of our friends who had rentals in the area were disappointed in what they got versus what was advertised. Our experience was the complete opposite, it was above and beyond our expectations. We can't recommend Nelson house enough (I say WE because the other parents I stayed with wanted to make sure we left a great review!) Book the Nelson House! You will not be disappointed!

This place was awesome.

This house was perfect for us. 3 couples and a high school student stayed there. There was only 1 shower but that did not interfere with us all getting ready for the games. The house was very convenient to get to the field. The Walmart for groceries was very close. The house had everything we needed, plenty of bath towels and pool towels. We were thankful that it was stocked with cooking spices. The high schooler loved having the basement to himself. The owners were easy to get a hold of. Would highly recommend this place. We loved it.
