Located in the prestigious Lake Crest community, enjoy views of the lake from every room in the house. Swim and fish off the dock or bring two boats & jet ski. Enjoy meals on the screened porch with gas grill, or stay comfortable inside with the cable TV, internet and central AC. A great place to enjoy nature. Fresh linen and clean towels provided. Close to interstate, restaurants, boat and jet ski rentals, marinas, hiking trails, swimming, fishing, tennis, golf, horseback riding, family fun centers, antique shops and more. Grocery stores and discount stores are within a 15 minute drive. Outlet stores and AAA baseball are 35 minutes away. Enjoy boating on this beautiful lake to hiking at in the Bushkill Falls to whitewater river rafting on the Delaware, this rental has it all. There are Exterior security cameras installed for roadside and lake side security. There are no interior cameras that could affect your privacy.

This amazing log home is the ideal vacation get-a-way for you and your family. Lake Wallenpaupack in the Northern Poconos has all that you would expect in a mountain lake. There is plenty of fishing, hiking, swimming, nature trails, hunting areas and outdoor recreation at all times of the year. Spring brings out wildlife and Summer has it all. September and October bring beautiful fall foliage. By December local ski areas begin to open trails that continue until March. 20 minutes to Promised Land State Park, 10 minutes to Ceasar's Cove Haven. There are many antique shops to explore and the area offers everything that you could want in a relaxed lake atmosphere. There is shopping, dining, fishing, swimming,horseback riding, golfing and much more. This is a non smoking facility.

Great property, plenty of room, and has everhthing you need. Amazing views of the lake from the house. Loved the dock. We used it to swim, fish, kayak, paddle board, and even tied our rental boat up to it. Nice fire pit just above that for evening campfires and smores for the kids. If you enjoy lake living, and want to be RIGHT on the water, this place is right for you!

Beautiful views

This property is located on a beautiful spot on the lake. Great hiking nearby. Though it is not right out the door, hiking is only a short drive. The house was spotless and very well stocked with simple pantry items. The owners were easily accessible and responsive. We highly recommend this property and hope to return!

Cute cabin home. Loved the antiques. Great communication with owner. Had 2 family members over 70 and could have used a hand rail on all the steps to the lake. Our weather didn’t cooperate but still had a good time.

Why did you through us under the bus. You saw all the pictures before you arrived and there is no hand rail on the stairs to the lake. An 80 % review hurts our ranking.

Better Than We Hoped For!

We recently had an amazing stay at this property, and we can’t recommend it enough! Everything was accurately advertised, and the house was simply fantastic. The owner was incredibly easy to work with and quick to respond to any questions we had, making the whole process seamless. Bringing our Jet Ski and kayaks made it that much more fun and easily accessible, and the dock was perfect for all our water activities. The location couldn’t have been better, allowing us to explore and unwind. We can’t wait to come back again!

Fall week at the Lake

The cabin is cute and has lots uniqueness to add to the character of the place. Nice linens with cabin motif. Fire pit was fun. The owners left the dock in place so fishing was great. Our relaxing experience was interrupted by an unexpected email from the property owners which alerted us that we were being watched by the surveillence cameras. We recognize that these are to ensure the safety of the property, but the way in which it occured really gave us an uneasy feeling.

You are the first clients that have complained about security cameras just like the ones at hotels. This is the first non 5 star rating we have received since 2014. I guess that is because we were alerted by our property manager that you had a dog with you that was not listed or paid for on the contract.

Magnificent House

We’ve been renting in Lake Wallenpaupack for 20 years and have stayed at some beautiful homes. This house was the best! The location is perfect and you can see sunrise and sunsets from the dock. We paddle boarded around the cove and island every day. The steps and dock were very safe. The house was big enough for our family of 5 to spread out. It was very comfortable. The kitchen had everything needs to make dinners. We spent time in the spacious living room on hot nights for game night and on the enclosed deck on cool nights. We will definitely be back. Amazing house and experience!

This is our third year staying in Tom and Debbie's log home. Our family looks forward to this week all year. The house is absolutely beautiful, with the ideal atmosphere of a lakeside cabin in the woods. Every year we see the efforts put forth by the Wagners to constantly upgrade and improve the property (including all new comfy mattresses this year!). Not only are there nice linens provided, but the house is extremely clean as well. Everyone in our family has their own space and can enjoy whatever activity they would like. We spent every meal eating on the screened in porch and really enjoy having our boat within sight at the private dock. We have stayed at many VRBO properties, but the Wagners is by far the best. They are terrific hosts, and we are already booked for next year!

cozy cabin feel

Spacious log cabin. Very cozy and great for a fall trip. Plenty of room for 2 families. The master bedroom is cozy but spacious as well. Would not advise for very small children(new walkers) as there are many steep steps to walk down to the water and steep drops off patio. Nice amount of privacy from other neighbors. Was a little concerned with the fact that we discovered several actively working cameras around the outside of the home. Which is understandable as you are not always there. My sister owns a vacation home right down the road and has the same, but turns them off while renters are occupying the home to respect their privacy, as well as disclosing it to the renters. Having teenage girls it concerns me a bit having strangers watching them. Other than that this home was a great find and would reccommend.

Our guests were great. Cameras on the out side of the house monitor the street and the shore line for security and insurance purposes. They can be turned off on request. They do not monitor anything inside the cabin, porch or lower deck.

Why they chose this property

My inlaws built the cabin by hand in 1960. My wife and I maintained the cabin for many years and we purchased it from the estate in 2013. So, it is still the family cabin with alot of great memories

What makes this property unique

Located in a residential community with great neighbors. The cabin has been totaly upgraded over the last 5 years while maintaining it's log cabin charm.
