Private Retreat with your dogs: close to WEC

Welcome to my MCM home conveniently located off two major roads but tucked back on a half acre in a quiet family oriented neighborhood. Newly updated throughout featuring high quality linens and memory foam mattresses in each room. Attention to detail at every turn for the ultimate Airbnb experience for you, your friends and your pups. Laundry baskets, hangers, soaps, USB outlets, steamer, hair blow dryers, makeup wipes, first aid kit etc etc! Your dogs are welcome to their own bowls, bed, toys, couch blanket and fully fenced in back yard! You’ll love the classic Florid- sun room stocked with comfy furniture, board games and a vintage shuffleboard! The kitchen is brand spanking new and stocked for all your cooking and dining needs. Enjoy the WiFi connected TV , listen to tunes on the Bluetooth speaker or delve into the mini library. Feel free to add to the collection!

The outdoor patio is now complete and ready for your enjoyment. Couches, chairs, a propane fire pit and ambient twinkle lights will make your night in perfect. Chair cushions are located in an outdoor cupboard. The small private fully fenced yard is yours to roam as well as the larger partially fenced back yard which is shared with the owner. Please do NOT leave dogs unattended in the larger back yard, it is NOT dog proof.

I love working on this home from within the private access studio which shares a wall with the rental unit. I’ll be adding new art pieces and amenities so look for upgrades and changes ! There’s still some tweaks to be made so pardon me while I build new doors and shelves! Owner access to studio is limited to normal business hours and weekends.

Guests w/ pets: please be sure to pick up inside the home and the yard before you leave to help ensure the next guests stay is pleasurable. Thoroughly clean pet waste from yards and place in trash
Trash goes out SUNDAY PM: removing your trash and placing the can on the curb would be HUGELY appreciated! Please remove all food from fridge and trash from counters and tables.
Please report and damage , issues or missing items so we can make the next guests stay better. Your 5* review is very important! Please take a moment to review your stay upon departure

Host was welcoming. TV went out shortly after arrival. Dry dog poop all in the backyard. We collected 20 doggy bags of poop. Otherwise the house was neat and clean and cute.

This place was extraordinarily well decorated and well-maintained. The kids loved the shuffleboard table, the dog loved the backyard that was fenced in, and then there's a huge community area for dogs just outside the fence. Perfect place to bring your pets. The house was clean and well-maintained, Everything worked, honestly I was pretty impressed.

My wife and I recently spent a weekend at this home in Ocala and had an exceptional experience. We were visiting the area for UF Parents Weekend in Gainesville and wanted a comfortable place where we could bring our two dogs. This property was the perfect choice. The location served as a great home base, only about a 45-minute drive to Gainesville, and the cost was far more reasonable than anything available closer to campus. We also enjoyed exploring Ocala itself, which has a surprisingly charming downtown.The home was spotless, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. It was well appointed with everything we needed and felt inviting from the moment we arrived. It is especially well suited for guests with dogs, offering a large, secure backyard where our dogs could play off leash. The grounds were clean, quiet, and thoughtfully maintained.This rental exceeded our expectations in every way. We would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and comfortable place to stay that truly feels like a home away from home.

Moving to area soon

We were happy to feel so comfortable during this transitionary time. Cleanliness and lovely aesthetic touches made this home feel warm and inviting. I'd love to know where you shop for shower curtains, kitchen shelf & other decor! The smaller fully fenced yard for our doggies was much appreciated and short leash walks in the larger yard were nice except for times when doggies on the property diagonal to this one were out and instigated barking (none right next door). The doggies across the street were occasionally out with their owner also and we kept the curtain drawn to avoid further attention. It was nice that this home was towards the end of the road and quiet (except for New Years fireworks) with no through traffic. We would stay again and are grateful it was available when we needed it.
