Quail Ridge is a serene and cozy home that sits atop a small rise at the base of Castle Rock in the Village of Oak Creek, with views of both the amazing red rocks and the mesas below. It’s the perfect home base for your Sedona get-away, being less than a mile from golf courses, restaurants, hiking, pubs and grocery stores, and just five miles to the world class shopping and dining of Uptown Sedona. Quail Ridge is a home all on one level, and recently updated with new furniture and finishes, and completely remodeled kitchen and baths. The large main living space has comfy furnishings, a candle (only) fireplace, a streaming TV, a picture window overlooking the valley and a dining area for six. The home is bright and airy, with ceiling fans in every room to move the crisp mountain air. There is also an Electric Vehicle charger in the garage - 50 volts, 240 amp.


The master bedroom boasts a king bed, walk-in closet, full bath with separate tub and walk-in shower, and its own private door to the large front courtyard, a perfect place for coffee while watching the wildlife on a beautiful mountain morning. The two guest bedrooms (both have queen beds) are on the other side of the home and share a large full bath with a jetted shower. One of the two guest rooms also has a private door to its own back patio.

The spacious kitchen has a sunny breakfast nook with windows overlooking Castle Rock, and is stocked with glassware, flatware, cookware, coffee pot, utensils, toaster, spices, salt/pepper/flour/sugar, crockpot, air fryer, serving platters and tons of pantry space. Cooktop is gas and all appliances are new.

The large front courtyard has a firepit to enjoy while gazing at the display of stars at night. Sedona is a Dark Sky community which means that area lights are at a minimum, so the stars are amazingly bright and plentiful. The back patio has a grill and dining table to enjoy, and on the side there’s another fire pit for viewing Castle Rock at sunset.

From Quail Ridge it’s just a short drive to many hiking trails, golf, grocery stores, restaurants and attractions, but it can also be your home base for further out excursions like the Verde Valley Wine Trail, the old mining town of Jerome, Flagstaff, Gateway to the Grand Canyon and more.

Wonderful, Relaxing Month in Sedona/VOC

Theresa and Jim were great hosts and have created a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the Sedona area. Very quiet, comfortable home furnished and provisioned in a quality, "thought-full" manner. Home is located high in the Village of Oak Creek so it has great views and where you can be outside and enjoy the air and breezes. There are four outdoor patio/sitting areas so at least one is always in the shade. Kitchen, laundry, and bathrooms were all well-provisioned. Theresa and Jim have put a lot of thoughtful consideration into their home and it shows!

Red Rock Love

Great home and great views of castle rock. Some of the best kitchen supplies, linens ,bbq, fire pits we've experienced for a rental. Super clean and modern decor. Golf, pickle ball , hiking available within blocks. Love split master and guest room layout as we had several guests come stay with us. Nice having the super clean garage available and a remote. Quite neighborhood and close to all the VOC has to offer and easy to hiking, uptown, cottonwood and Jerome. Hosts were readily available by text for any questions or assistance. The owners have put a lot of attention to detail to make the stay memorable.

On our first trip to Sedona we were blown away by the sheer beauty and uniqueness of the Red Rocks, and fell in love with the quaint town. Even after many trips the majesty and peacefulness of Sedona still inspires, and we knew we wanted to be a part of it.

We moved from the east coast to Arizona in 2020 and currently reside in Goodyear AZ.

Why they chose this property

Because the home sits on a ridge there's views of both the red rocks and the valley.

The home was recently updated top to bottom with comfortable furnishings, modern bathrooms, tile flooring, stainless steel appliances and luxurious finishes.

There are no stairs in the home making it easy for anyone to navigate.

Amazing stars at night from the large front courtyard and beautiful sunrises and sunsets.

Away from the hustle and bustle of Uptown, yet close enough to enjoy (5 miles) when a little hustle and bustle is desired!

What makes this property unique

We manage the property ourselves so you don't have to deal with a management company, we will always return a phone call when something needs attention. Jim is retired Navy and the house reflects both his attention to detail and the overall cleanliness of the home. Theresa is a retired corporate event planner that knows how to make your stay a memorable experience.
