Recently transformed 4-bedroom, 2-bathroom Modern Farmhouse in Sheridan! Exceptional views! Located on 9 acres full of oak trees and a pond, this home offers a well-appointed living space that's perfect for friends and families. Sway in the hammock, play frisbee golf, play cornhole, try the ninja course, bird watch, build a charcuterie board in the fully equipped kitchen, then gather the crew to cook smores on the fire pit and enjoy stargazing and deer watching. The home includes 3 bedrooms downstairs and a loft room upstairs. The loft includes 4 twin beds, board games, and plenty of space for the kids to play. The living room has a queen size pull out couch for your use. There is plenty to do at the property or you can spend the day at the wineries, check out the distillery, shop in nearby towns, tube the Colorado river, or enjoying Splashway and all it has to offer. Ask us about wine tours! Dogs allowed (max of 2) with paid pet fee of $175.

Very clean and very well furnished with cookware and eating utensils. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms were very clean and stocked. Only complaint is that it was quite smaller than it looked in the pictures.

We are so glad we stayed at the farmhouse! It had everything we needed, and the beautiful outdoor views made it even more special. It was the perfect distance from Splashway, which we love visiting every year as a family tradition.The kids absolutely loved the farmhouse, the games, spending time together, and enjoying the outdoors. They were so excited when we saw an armadillo — they were thrilled! Even our Shih Tzu had the best time chasing crickets and watching all the outdoor Deer. We do recommend bringing bug spray since you’re enjoying the outdoors, but everything about our stay was wonderful. We made so many great memories and highly recommend this farmhouse. We will definitely be renting again!

Perfect getaway for family

Loved this place! Great place to stay for a family getaway. Our young girls loved playing with the friendly kitty, the swing, the ropes course and fishing in the pond. It's also really close to the water park. The whole family enjoyed our stay here.

Great stay

Great stay in this very clean, updated farmhouse. The kitchen was perfect for preparing a large meal. Our family especially enjoyed sitting on the porch, playing corn hole and fishing in the pond. Highly recommend as part of a Splashway trip.

Perfect Weekend Spot

This was the perfect spot to get away for a weekend at the waterpark! Quiet and beautiful! Super close to the waterpark!! Everything included for anything you might want/need to do (cooking, laundry, hanging outside, etc) (only downfall was the cat food attracted so many flies and it was hard to keep them away) Would definitely stay here again!

Our family stayed at the Farmhouse for the weekend and it was awesome. Beautiful, clean, secluded property with excellent hosts. One of the most picturesque oak trees in the back was great for pictures. We will definitely be back.

Wonderful weekend getaway

Absolutely gorgeous inside and out! Relaxing yard with a pond, grill, outdoor games, fire pit, lovely porch and beautiful trees! Everything was extremely clean and the kitchen is fully stocked. Highly recommend!!

Great get away!

We loved the Farmhouse! It was perfect for our running group to prepare for the Shiner half marathon and to celebrate our accomplishments afterwards. The space was just right. We really enjoyed relaxing by the fire pit and roasting marshmallows! It was a fun weekend!

We spent the weekend in Sheridan after a waterpark trip for a birthday get together. The hosts do a great job at responding in a quick manner! Excellent Quiet Place

The Sheridan was a great home base for our duck hunting trip. We had 5 adults, both men and women. We spent a lot of our time outside enjoying the grounds and the serenity of the wooded setting. It is a really nice place that has been recently renovated with all the items that you would need.

Why they chose this property

The house was built in 1919 and moved to the property in the 70's. Original photos of the home can be found near the kitchen door. The "S" on the kitchen vent hood is from a screen door off the 100 year old Schmidt Family farmhouse in Spalding, Nebraska. We fell in love with the property because of the giant oak trees and the potential we saw in reviving the 100 year old farmhouse. Our family has already made so many memories here, and we hope you will do the same. Our favorite things to do on the property are to drink coffee on the porch, watch the deer in mornings, play outdoor games, and enjoy a glass of wine while watching the sunset.

Splashway waterpark is the main attraction in the area. They have the waterpark, miniature golf, laser tag, a restaurant, coffee shop, live music, and so much more.

There’s also plenty to do in the surrounding area, including some fantastic restaurants, breweries, wineries, a distillery and local shops. Ask us about a wine tour!
