We had a great stay here. There were 5 of us and we had plenty of room to spread out. The kitchen is spacious and well stocked. We enjoyed the back porch and the hot tub during our stay. We walked into the town of Buckley several times for breakfast and ice cream. Owner was great. We would definitely stay again!

Thank you, Stephanie! It was great to host you and your group. We are glad you enjoyed the house and took the time to walk into Buckley. Our favorite coffee shop is right in downtown…. Anchor Coffee House :)
Perfect stay for family, nice to have as many bathrooms as bedrooms. We so enjoyed the large picture window in the kitchen as we watched the deer graze and play. Nice to have covered outdoor space and fire table. Would highly recommend.
Perfect escape from the city for a romantic weekend away. Beautiful, spacious home. The views were very relaxing. Enjoyed time in the hot tub surrounded by nature. Actually had deer walk within ten feet of us while in the hot tub. Also enjoyed the fireplace. It was amazing!

I was traveling with a group of 6 adults and the house was amazing. The house was as advertised and fully stocked. Comfortable beds, very clean, and fun furniture inside and out. We could not have asked for better weather and the view of Mt. Rainier was awesome! Thank you for opening your house to guests.

Thank you so much, Lindsay! It is our pleasure to have hosted you, and we are tickled that you had such a great time :-)
We really enjoyed the house! The view of Mount rainier was amazing!! The backyard was definitely our favorite part. We grilled every night and hung out by the outdoor table heater. The kitchen also had all the cooking pans and seasoning we needed. We loved that the dining room table was big enough for all of us. We also tried out a couple restaurants in the area and they were delicious! I highly recommend this house.

We arrived for a weekend wedding outside Enumclaw and found this to be a perfect home away from home. As self-proclaimed chefs we loved the full stocked Spice Drawer. While it was the traditional overcast and rainy weather we loved driving up out of the clouds to see Mt Ranier and also for an amazing hike along the river prior to entering the park (All Trails had it as a 2 mile out and back along the river). THe art was fun and we felt at home.
My family and I rented this home because it was near a wedding we had to attend in Enumclaw this summer. We were impressed by the high-end amenities and spaciousness of the home. We really enjoyed sitting out on the comfortable outdoor patio furniture underneath the built-in awning both day and night. We had fun playing games at the massive dining room table. The spacious kitchen with built in island was such a great way to entertain and visit with friends and family while cooking or eating. The bedrooms were all top notch, comfortable beds, and the A/C units were perfect for the warmer summer temps. Our interactions with the homeowners were pleasant and they were very hospitable! We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this beautiful home!

Thank you so much, Jason! We would definitely love to have you again. You are making us miss our home in Buckley, Washington. :-)
Chuck and Jilla's property was perfect for a Crystal Mountain ski weekend with friends. The location is about an hour drive from the mountain which is about as close as you can get to the national forest. The hot tub was amazing after a long day on the slopes and the built in hot tub speakers were awesome! The kitchen was extremely well stocked with every utensil and pan, as well as, a fully stocked spice drawer. Chuck was very easy to contact and answer any questions we had during our stay. So many more amenities that made our stay amazing; The heated bathroom floors, Sonos speakers throughout the house, large driveway, beautiful mountain views, quiet location, grill, I could go on forever! Could not recommend enough! Thank you!!

Thank you so much for the wonderful review, Michael! We are glad you had a great day and would happily welcome you back whenever you like :-) cheers! Chuck and Jilla
I wish I could give this property more stars than listed. The hosts were beyond SUPER and attentive to any needs that we had. The entire house, really, the entire house had everything we could need for our 3 month stay in Buckley. The location was perfect with easy access to the airport, Seattle and the mountains. The town of Buckley was small and friendly, allowing us to escape the hustle and bustle of Seattle, yet within easy driving distance. I am a traveling nurse practitioner and being able to stay at this location, versus a hotel, made the Seattle assignment enjoyable and relaxing. As I mentioned earlier, the house is completely stocked with everything you need for a short or extended stay. We look forward to returning to Seattle at a later date and can only hope that this property will be available for another extended stay. I cannot imagine staying anywhere else in Seattle. Great home and many thank you to the VRBO Hosts for making their home available.

About the host
Hosted by Chuck & Jilla
Jilla and Chuck met on an Alaska cruise in 2021 and have been inseparable since! Between the two of us we have six adult children. We are semi-retired and have another home In Florida. We travel the US extensively in our Airstream, checking in on our homes and families as we adventure!
Why they chose this property
We love being at the house in Buckley because it feels so quiet and relaxing with amazing Mount Rainer views and wildlife. The PNW forest fragrance is intoxicating and the 100 foot trees are majestic. We have a wonderful home with a large, open kitchen where a large group can enjoy cooking together. The adjoining living room an 18 foot cathedral ceiling with large windows that let in the view to the mountain and field behind the house . The whole place just feels great. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do.
What makes this property unique
Buckley is small town of 4680 residents many of whom have lived here for generations. It’s a historic logging town in a great location: it’s about 15 miles from the closest entrance to Mt. Rainier National Forest and about 45 minutes to Crystal Mountain skiing. It’s also about 15 minutes away from The White River Amphitheater that draws big names like Halsey, Santana, Earth, Wind and Fire. And, in about 50 minutes you can drive to Seattle if you want a day trip to the big city. Check out our Guestbook where we’ve loaded lots of our favorite places.
Even with all these wonderful, nearby places and things to do, we think the best parts of living in Buckley are the quiet, the views, the stars, the wildlife, and the sweet, down-to-earth people. It’s a really special place.
